Delivering the message to his mom and not knowing what to really tell her was a hard task.

I had to call Poppy to be with her parents when I told them what happened.

Mister Daye told me he'd make some calls and get back to me. That it might be a loss of signal.

I knew better.

I returned to work the next day even when Em told me I could take the week off.

I couldn't.

I appreciated the lack of questions but the hugs were the best.

I kept my phone close for two whole days before I got one from a foreign number.

I had to excuse myself as Em finished the job for me.

It's his friend and boss Hassan.

He wants to find out if I can get a week off from work so he can fly me out to see Hunter.

I agreed without a second thought.

Returning to the shop front, I saw them all looking at me. Hoping I got good news.

"I don't know," I gulped. "his boss asks if I can take a week off..."

"Yes." Em answered and I felt like crying. "Don't cry, Rae. He could be fine."

"I hope." I nod. "He'll be picking me up, so I don't know when..."

The door opens and in walked two men dressed in black.

They're looking right at me.

"Jhanna-Rae Marley. Hassan has his private jet waiting for you when you're ready." One spoke.

The door opens again and a walk but it's a lady that walks in. A familiar face, a famous one.

"She's with us, she'll be covering for Miss Marley if the boss allows it."

"Yes." Em didn't waste a second to accept her idol.

I grabbed my back and kissed Em on the cheek, rushing out as I waved goodbye to them.

I was properly introduced to the men, getting a little knowledge of what would happen.

They'll wait until I pack an emergency bag and I did so quickly as I've had it since I got Hunter's call.

Everything was planned before I even accepted it.

They were outside when Hassan called me and they came in when he gave them the go-ahead.

I had to sign a paper on some safety, protection, and classified information guidelines. Then give them my phone to take out a serial number or something but I don't understand why.

It's just that I can't have anyone tracking my location and I can't know the destination until I get there.

It's all in for trusting them.

Even the luxury of the flight was the last thing on my mind.

I either look at my phone through Hunter's pictures, stare outside the window, and curdle in the seat deep in thoughts.

I turned down the bed they have on here. I wanted to stay on alert.

Sipping the remaining beverage in the glass, I started to get sleepy and knew it was not of my own will.

"You drugged me," I spoke slowly as I felt my head spinning.

"My apologies, Miss Marley. I was requested to do it so you can have a well-deserved rest.
