Her food keeps getting better and better.

Her appearance had him faller deeper.

Her smiles, laughter, and voice are captivating

Her expressions changes a lot, but for every one she still looks cute.

She sings and has the voice of an angel.

She is friendly but knows her limits. She's protecting herself. Guarding that little heart of hers when she spoke of her now ex-boyfriend. Even speaking to Blake shows how it bothers her very little, or not even the slightest.

Hunter's years of training have taught him how to become a lie detector as well as a therapist.

Seeing how hurt someone is beneath the surface while they cover it with laughter and smiles.

He hoped she'd open up because all those bottled-up feelings would drain her.

He never expected their time outside in the snow would go from ten to a hundred in a matter of seconds.

He has seen her cry, but she'll force herself to smile.

Pretending her tears never happened. She even goes as far as to ruin a romance book by ripping out a few pages with her little fingers.

There's some Chihuahua anger in there. He knows it. Still, she doesn't lash out at the wrong person.

From sneezing to a few tears in her eyes, she excused herself.

Hunter took that to the extent of landing the drone so she could have some privacy. Then returns to make sure that she's safe and being protected even from a distance.

Then he heard a scream.

Loud ears shattering scream that came from the gut. Raw and thrilling.

He was alarmed until he saw her.

Her screams echoed for miles on end through the high mountain.

The little lady with vocals like Celine Dion or Whitney Houston. It could cause a glacier if she's not careful.

Then her cries had a hulk of a man like him feeling his hard exterior crumbling with every step he took forward.

Whatever it was, he hoped it wasn't something worse than he had imagined.

There's nothing worse than the cries of women and children. The smallest of them, their cries are sometimes overlooked.

Now to offer company, a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. Hunter could've said more, but it's not yet time.

Hearing only a tip of what this little lady had to go through in her home country was heartbreaking.

Imagining his parents doing that to his little sister would make him resent them.

Then for horny men with no respect for women. It's a shame.

Lusting after a woman mentally and not knowing how to control themselves even had Hunter feeling guilty. He would never go so far as to touch a woman to give her the wrong impression, but for them to do so openly.

No wonder she's guarded.

Admitting to her friend Emryn about her feelings about safety since she got with Blake.

Hunter was sure her walls were too high for even him to climb. He'll break them down if he has to, but he'll rather her building a gate for him to enter.

Opening up to him about everything with every detail.

She had questions that he didn't have answers to.
