Laughing as the pups were being silly as usual, I looked up when Hunter wheeled in.
I was seated on the floor, so I got up when I saw his expression.
I've taken a few pregnancy tests and sat here waiting while he goes to check. It seems nothing happened as he looks upset and disappointed.
He lifts all five tests that he sent out to buy and I see two lines and the word pregnant on the rest of them.
He starts grinning and that's how I know he tricked me.
"We're pregnant!"
"I'm pregnant." I laughed, holding his face to kiss him. "Congratulations Daddy, now throw those away."
"What! I haven't taken a picture of it yet."
Laughing at him, I quickly grabbed his phone off charge and went on camera. Snapping a few photos then a single selfie with me in it.
"That one is getting framed. I'll send the rest to my family." He reached to take the phone but I held it away from him.
"Throw those away, wash your hands and you'll get it." I point to the bathroom he just came from.
"Speaking like a true mom." He teases with a grin as he reverses.
"Whatever." I blushed.
Going ahead to sending the pictures to my phone.
I put his own on the bed, sending the selfie to Em.
She might be a strict boss, but she's a good bestie.
Hunter hurries back and starts sending it out.
It even came in on my phone through the family group that his mom added me to.
In no time it's flooded with responses, congratulating us. I couldn't stop smiling but when I thought he was finished, he told them to zoom in on my finger.
A ring filled with rocks and it's a bit heavy. He knows I'm simple but I love flashy stuff from time to time.
This will be all the time.
Another wave of congratulations came in before his phone started ringing.
"Brother." He laughs. "Engaged and Pregnant."
I rolled my eyes at him though my grin remained.
My phone starts ringing and I'm left with Em and the stylists shouting congratulations.
Then I went ahead and flashed the ring, I wasn't even surprised when Vicki grabbed Em's phone.
"Lil' boo, that ring ain't little!" He exclaimed, grinning as hard as I am.
"I know." I showed him again.
"Thank you, Jesus." He praised getting in spirit as he moved around trying to avoid everyone trying to snatch the phone. "I call dips on walking you down the aisle."
"I'ma fuck you up, Vic. That's mah sister." I heard Reggie threaten.
Laughing harder, I know a fight is about to go on.
"Your sister is pregnant too," Vic revealed.
"Yeah! I'm gon be an uncle!" The fool starts celebrating.
"TT ready over here." Steff included.
"Y'all are crazy." I wiped my eyes. All these happy tears keep flowing. "But Vicki, I need to speak with you privately."
"What did I do?" He held his heart.
"It's nothing bad, you know me, Vic. I'll call you later though." I ended up saying goodbye to everyone then I turned to Hunter who was still on the call speaking another language.
