Having a whole day to myself yesterday, I stayed on video chat with Hunter the whole time I was packing my things.

I told him my dreams and aspirations as he shared his own.

An with my new apartment being in an area where it's worse than the current.

I now have to wait even longer because he offered something better. Reminding me of the promise I made to trust him.

I agreed before I even told Emryn what was up. She said to trust him wholeheartedly and I was honestly surprised because she never said I should do that when I was with Blake.

Speaking of Blake, he glimpses me bringing out my trash, and decides to beat on my door.

I told Hunter but Reggie was right on time to run him off. He knows not to mess with my bro.

Dressed simply for work. With my black pants, black Nike, company shirt, and my new tools in my bag, I was off to work.

I fell into my old routine, exiting my apartment just when Steff was coming down the stairs.

I waited for her while I forced myself to eat my breakfast as it's hard to eat so early.

I hand Steff a cup of coffee and she sighs, thanking me as we walk together to her car.

The drive was a quick one as we got to Glow Up.

Where our once lovely building is now shared with competitive bitches.

The worst thing to have is two hair salons on the same street, but it's even crazier when it's in the same building.

Glow Up has fifteen employees that are never out of work for a day. We work so hard that as one client is off the seat, another gets on the next second.

Now this place called Nai's Beauty is right upstairs and they're required to use the same entrance and hallway that we do.

Emryn won't allow them to put a single sign for their salon on our building and for people to know their location. It's right upstairs from Glow Up.

Their customers make reservations but walk into our salon forgetting about the upstairs part of the directions. They'll be corrected when their names are not found so they have to check upstairs.

Only to return asking to make a reservation at our spot.

While the upstairs looks ghetto, our salon looks like it will Glow Up a person for real.

We have a selfie mirror with a design that we change every month. The waiting area is bougie with our girl Tina who makes our clients feel like celebrities. The entrance has flesh flowers as soon as it previous one is staring to look a little withered.

We have our own magazines where a client can freely view the works of a particular stylist and see our work. We don't just post our style on social media, we keep it in hand for walk-ins can see as well.

We serve a little wine on Fridays and Saturdays, but only a glass or two to those who make their appointments for that day. Behind every magazine is a menu from our personal favorite restaurant.

Once they call the restaurant using our special code, they'll get a discount. Just how we'll get free food due to the free publicity. The discount is only free delivery but it's okay to tip.

That's how we have Reggie and his cousins going in and out of here.

So half the time our salon smells like food and it makes the clients just as hungry as we are.
