"Hailey, I'm starting to get worried." Kendall informed me while we were walking to Charms about a week after she woke up.

"He's fine. Don't worry. Besides, you are a really good substitute for Rascal." Kendall decided that just because Rascal was gone, doesn't mean our meetings were. Kendall found some of Rascal's lesson plans somewhere and has been teaching us based of them.

"But still, I have a right to be worried; it's been two weeks." She countered.

"He's fine, okay?" I tried my best to calm her down.

"I guess so." She sighed.

"Hey, I need your help with something. Jay's 16th birthday is in a couple of days and I wanna plan a surprise party."

"Gods of Olympus! That sounds like fun. Of course, I'll help." Kendall smiles.

"Great," I say as we walk into charms for another boring day. Well as boring as it can be for a demigod in a school for magic.

"Why are having it out here?" Kendall asks. We were outside by the Black Lake, walking along its banks.

"We're not." I said shifting the box I was carrying. "C'mon." I start wading into the water. When I was about hip deep, I looked around to see Kendall still at the banks. "Come on. You'll stay dry this time, I promise."

Reluctantly, Kendall wadded beside me. Not wasting anymore time, we walked until we were fully submerged. As we were in our air bubble underwater, we could see clearly, as I could tell my home was little ways up ahead.

We walked in silence until we got there. Setting the box of supplies on a counter, I smiled at the familiarity of this place.

"Oh it's great to be home. Let's get started shall we." I laugh as I start in packing supplies.

After an hour, everything was in place. I went to go get Jay while Kendall went to get Sage, Tori, and Marie Louise. I quickly ran into the Gryffindor common room to see Jay sitting comfortably on one of the couches.

"Hey Jay!"

"Hailey! Where have you been?! I haven't seen you all day!"

"Yeah, well I discovered we can go to our house from the lake! You wanna come back with me?"

She looked disappointed, but she finally said, "Alright. It's not like I have anything special today." She muttered sarcastically. I giggled and pulled her from the couch, dragging her all the way to the Black Lake.

I quickly ran all the way to the house, quickly hiding and warning everyone she's coming. The minute it took for Jay to get here was unbearable. It felt like a millennium! Finally, the door swung open.

"Hello? Hailey?"

"HAPPY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY JAY!!" We all shouted while her whole face lightened.

"Wow, you guys actually remembered." Jay beamed.

"How could I forget?" I laugh and give my sister a hug.

"ALRIGHT! LETS PARTY!!" Sage shouted, getting a series of howls a whoops in response.

The party was in full commence, all the girls laughing and talking and dancing. Kendall was trying to teach Sage this dance the Doctor taught her, something called, The Drunk Giraffe? Marie Louise and Tori were talking about battle strategies when Jay came over and told them, "This a party, not a war council," making me laugh at her true statement.

At about eight, I heard a ring. It continued, ringing obnoxiously every few seconds. Everyone got quiet and the music turned off. I looked around with wide eyes. Who in Merlin could be calling us?

"Um, maybe it's Camp Mediterranean?" Kendall suggested quietly. Someone had created a device to stop phones from signaling monsters. I shrugged and walked to the receiver. Finally getting there, I saw that the number was unknown. 555-472-7867. Slowly, I picked up my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, this is Rascal."

"Rascal!" I shouted, getting Kendall's attention. "You're alive. What happened?"

"Long story, but right now I need an extra hand in the lab." He slightly chuckled.

"Hey, can I talk to him?" Kendall asked me.

"Yeah. Here." I passed her the phone. She snatched it quickly and began ranting to Rascal, which was quite amusing. Eventually, she stopped, listening to the other end.

She slammed the phone down so suddenly, everyone jumped. Sighing to herself, she pulled her hand through her hair.

"I need to go back to the Ravenclaw common room. Can one of the water girls lead me out?" Jay walked up to Kendall.

"I'll take you."

"I'm coming with you." Tori said before the were out the door.

"Tori, no."

"Too bad. He may be your boyfriend, but he's still my friend." Tori walked over to them confidently and all three left without a sound.
