Kendall - Psychic

I woke up to a pounding headache and blinding white light. Shutting my eyes immediately after I opened them, I tried to open them again, letting them fully adjust. My head felt like it had been beaten fifty times over.

"You murmur in your sleep," a voice said. I looked over to see a Gryffindor girl sitting next to me.

"I what?" I asked in disbelief. She had dirty blonde hair and startling grey eyes. She looked so familiar.

"You. MURMUR." She said slowly and forcefully, as if I was a preschooler, "In. Your. Sleep. You kept crying about Tal, your mum, and someone named Rascal?"

"Well, if the last thing you saw before passed out from losing too much blood was your friend stabbing you, and then your roommate about to kill him, you would murmur about bad stuff, too."

"Well someone's grumpy."

"I ALMOST DIED!" I shouted.

"Welcome to the club." Oh. So this was that Gryffindor whom Tal almost killed.

"Right, you're...Sabrina?" I suck with names.

"Sacha. Sacha Ethanne." She corrected.

"Sorry."

"It's cool. I probably need to inform Madam Pomfrey of your awakening."

"How long was I out?"

"A week."

I cursed in Ancient Greek which gave me an odd look from Sacha as she walked out of my little medical bay and into Madam Pomfrey's office. Madam Pomfrey came to my bed moments later, muttering about my mum.

"Where's Sacha?" I asked."Going to get your mother, dear. She wanted to be the first to know when you woke. It shouldn't take long considering that it is lunchtime and all," At that moment my mum swooshed into the Infirmary.

"Kendall, are you alright? I understand that Tal wasn't in...prime condition during either one of the attacks he had against you ladies." My mum said as she nodded towards Sacha.

"I'm fine. Seriously. How quickly did you come out of the Great Hall?"

"Quite quickly, why do you ask?"

"Not quickly enough. Three, two, one..." The door burst open to reveal Tori running in and nearly jumping on top of me. Instead she was held back by Madam Pomfrey and decided to give me a big hug instead.

"Woah, calm down Tori. I'm alive, okay." She reluctantly got off of me.

"I ran out as soon as Headmistress Brown left." Tori started to ramble on about how she knew this was where my mum was heading.

I ignored her and started to count down again, getting to one right before Jay, Hailey, Marie Louise, and Sage all ran in too.

"Great we can have a party." Tori groans.

"Wait," I noticed someone was missing, "where's Rascal?" Please say he didn't...I'll kill him if he did.

"Percy showed up a couple days ago, my duel with Tori" Hailey said.

"WHICH I WON!" Tori interrupted.

"Anyways, they ran off somewhere and still haven't came back." Jay finished. Oh crap. I'm gonna kill both of them.

"Well," Sage said with a smirk, "I guess it's just us girls."

After an entire afternoon of playing Never Have I Ever with Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, everyone had to leave. Madam Pomfrey insisted that even after being told that they could skip their afternoon classes (credit to my mum), they still had to retire to their dormitories.
