A FEW MINUTES had passed since the moment his feet touched the ground outside the evil town. Neither Melissa or Daryl came with them and the group was forced by a reluctant Rick to continue without them. He carried a duffle bag full of weapons and led them behind a bus to make up a plan.

Ben's eyes kept coming back and forth towards the enforced walls where people stood watch and flashed their lights at their hiding figures, clinging onto the hope that maybe, just maybe, Melissa was to climb over it and come back to them. His anxious thoughts were beginning to mess with his mind as the minutes passed and nothing happened.

The leaves from the nearest bush suddenly rustled behind them and as they turned with hope, they only came face to face with a bloodied Michonne. She was shaking and her eyes were wide in horror. Ben frowned almost in concern, he had the bad habit of caring for strangers—even before the world ended.

Upon seeing her, Rick quickly stood to his feet and aimed the end of his gun to her head. The three of them stood behind his back, they were confused, Ben was worried of what Rick might do but he also wondered if this woman had anything to do with Melissa and Daryl not returning.
