                   THE SILENCE WAS deafening. The only sound echoing around them was of Beth's and Carol's sobs. Bouncing to each person of the group like a ball and hitting deeply in their grieving hearts.

Daryl pulled the grieving mother to her feet in his best attempt at being soft, she only cried harder and shoved him away weakly. She then ran away back to camp as her body shook with a newfound grief.

Beth's sobs grew louder as she made her way through the group, her body shook with each sob and her breath was uneven and heavy as she reached her mother's dead body. The attempts of the group to stop her were in vain as she passed by them avoiding every pitiful look.

"Ma," she choked out, kneeling by her side and rolling her body over as loud tears streamed down her cheeks. Suddenly, a loud growl was emitted from the walker as her hands shot forward and grasped her daughter, trying to bring her towards her rotted teeth.

Everyone was quick to sprint towards the young girl, she screamed loudly as they tried to put her tiny body away from what was once her mother. Melissa knelt by their side as they pulled the girl away, pulling out her knife as she leaned over and embedded the blade into its rotting brain.
