„How does he come in here! It's protected by magic!" Who even is that?" Firion seethes

Ydris doesn't even spare a glance at him as his eyes stay on me „it took some time to find you my love but eventually I succeeded it seems" he chuckles lowly, his head tipped down a bit making his hat cast a shadow over half of his face a slightly deranged look on his face.
Firions stance was still tense and ready to fight as his alert eyes not leaving the magician.
„You caused some havoc with your vanishing and I needed to see wether you were alri-" Firion cut him off „She's fine as you see- we don't like strangers especially not intruders so leave." he glared at Ydris- who's eyes flickered to Firion a second still a dangerous smirk on his face before his eyes went back to mine „havoc?" I ask as he shifted but didn't move from his spot „Someone broke into your house after your disappearance, the Soulriders thought someone kidnapped you"
My eyes widen „someone broke into my home?!" I ponder for a second „darkcore" I turn to look at Firion who had an unsure look on his face „this is getting more serious... gives us less time to prepare you. We should go back and tell my mother"

As we arrived Auzora stepped out from the gardens „oh there you are- oh!" her smile not faltering „who did you bring here?" as Ydriss stepped out of the line and their gazes met her face fell and her expression went ridged, Ydris seemingly tensed up and held her gaze. Her eyes flicked to me almost as if she was pitying me before she quickly turned her face back to neutral „Ydris." she says flatly and his head tilted up a bit „you know him?" I ask cautiously her gaze darkened a bit „Now I do" my face struck confusion before turning on her heel „Firion and Shadow in the house, you" she points at Ydris „stay outside you are not welcome in my home" before heading inside. Firion shoots me an unsure glance before heading inside „just a moment" I tell Ydris and also enter the house

Before we headed to the door she silently touched my arm, I turned back around and her pointer finger tapped on a small piece of paper

ᛒᚨᚲᚲᛊᛏᚨᛒᛒᛖᚱ. Those were runes "backstabber?" I whisper and she looks at me intensely

"I wish I could do more to keep you safe but if someone like him can break through the barrier I need to send you back- before more beings that jeopardize my home come through the barrier" she says quietly

She hands me my bag and grasps my shoulder and looks down on me "don't trust him" she whispers.

Don't trust who? Ydris?

Before I can ask she turns me and opens the door
"You can count on me. We'll be there when you will need us most" she whispers and I hug her while whispering in her ear "I will try to figure out what you mean, I'll be careful thank you for everything" I whisper as I let go I shoot Firion a grateful smile before turning to Ydris who still had a strange expression- a wave of unease runs over me, I've been told there was a traitor but it wouldn't be him,

hello guys. 6 month have passed and I think I'm ready to keel this story going. Again not regularly but at least I won't discontinue it.

I'm still grieving but I'm happy to announce that I bought a horse in June. A tall, very beautiful 2,5 year old Andalusian. He helped and helps me heal everyday and I'm very excited about our future.

Also please note that your support helps this story, the more people I see interact with it, like/comments, the more drive I have for this. If i get 1 or 2 likes at 50 reads its very frustrating for me because then I wonder if I should even keep going because it consumes a lot of time to write.🤍
