3. Will and Won't

Lilly's POV
It was nine fifty and I was getting ready to meet with Dumbledore. I put on my Muggle clothing, but put a robe over it. I kissed Neville good night and popped over to see Dumbledore.
He said "Ah Lilly, right on time. I trust your summer has been good."
I nodded and asked, "Yes, how are you, Headmaster?"
He said, "Quite well, quite well. Now as you know, tonight is where we need to recruit our last staff member and we also need to go over the will."
I said, "Yes, sir."
He said, "Is something wrong, Lilly. You seem distressed."
I sighed saying, "Every night in the beginning of the summer, I had a nightmare. It was always what I saw at the Ministry. I was never able to control it until I had a loving embrace through the night. I am worried that when school starts, I'll be having nightmares again.Dumbledore asked, "What do you dream about?"
I said, "It's mostly Neville being tortured and Sirius dying. It tore me apart... It just keeps repeating and repeating. I just want to be able to sleep alone and have no nightmares...
He nodded saying, "Lilly, the dreams you have been having are the things you have feared the most, am I correct?"
I nodded and he said, "Though they may have become a reality, you of all people, know that there is good. Sirius is finally with his friends and Neville is safe. You fear to see him like that again, so you have to have him in your embrace to feel secure because your security has been demolished. Sirius was a safe haven, but now he is gone, you need to find another, which I presume is Neville?"
I took his words into account and said, "Yes. Things changed for me, my mother was a lie, my biological father was a lie. I just don't know what to do now. I don't know who to trust, I don't know who to believe, I just don't know, and it scares me... I feel as if I can only keep the people, who I know care for me, closer than ever..."
He said, "Lilly, you may not realize it, but no matter how dark times are, no matter how alone you feel, no on matter how sad you are; help will always be given to people at Hogwarts when they ask for it."
I smiled and said, "You told me that the first time I met you..."
He asked, "Was I wrong?"
I said, "Never."
He looked at the time and said, "Ah, we must be going, we are to meet Harry and the time has come."
We Disapparated to the Dursley's doorstep and they were quite surprised. Dumbledore talked to Harry and I about the will. Sirius left us everything. Harry said, "Lilly, you keep everything, you're the rightful owner."
I said, "I know Sirius would want us to share. I take the money, you take Grimmauld Place. We divide everything else."
Dumbledore explained to Harry how Grimmauld Place was for the Black family only. Harry asked, "Lilly, don't you want that place?"
I said, "I am undecided, but for now, you are owner of Grimmauld Place."
Dumbledore had brought Kreacher in and Harry was able to have Kreacher obey his command. Which was good, Kreacher is unable to tell Bellatrix anything about the Order, and he was sent to work in the Kitchens at Hogwarts. The other house elves will be able to keep an eye on him.
Harry got his things and Dumbledore talked to the Dursleys about the protective enchantment over the house and how he was disappointed how the Dursleys had treated Harry. Before Harry turns seventeen, he asked them to let Harry return one last time to make sure the enchantment is still in place for not only his protection, but theirs.
Dumbledore had Harry bring out his Invisibility Cloak, he sent his trunk and Hedwig to the Burrow, and Dumbledore said, "And now, Harry, Lilly, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure."
