What if a day like this came when I have to let go of you forever just for your sake, will I able to do so ? Will I be able to say goodbye without a tremor in my voice, without a regret in my heart ? 

I don't know the answer but I know one thing for sure, I will always cherish the memories of the time we spent together. And I did.

Several years back, when for the first time Heeseung and Nina path collided and when they became childhood sweethearts. They were studying together in the same kindergarten to same elementary school, they became close friends, there bond that of an innocent love without any label. They liked to be by each other sides, always doing everything together.

Heeseung and Nina were the best of friends in Mrs. Kim's 4th-grade class. They sat together at lunch, partnered up for projects, and even had a secret handshake. But amidst their friendship, a subtle sweetness blossomed.

Heeseung, with his messy black hair and bright smile, would often "accidentally" share his snacks with Nina, who had big brown eyes and curly pigtails. Nina, in turn, would "forget" her pencil case at home, and Heeseung would lend her his favourite pen.

During recess, they'd play tag together, and Heeseung would always make sure Nina was safe, shielding her from the rougher kids. Nina, being the bookworm, would help Heeseung with his reading, and he'd listen intently, his eyes sparkling with admiration.

Their classmates would tease them, saying they were "boyfriend and girlfriend," but Heeseung and Nina would just blush and deny it. Yet, they both knew there was something special between them – a gentle, innocent affection that made their hearts skip a beat.

One day, Heeseung drew a picture of Nina's favourite animal, a rabbit, and gave it to her as a "just because" gift. Nina treasured it, keeping it in her desk drawer, and Heeseung felt happy knowing she liked it.

On valentine day, Heeseung even gifted her a small single rose bouquet, a small fluffy teddy bear and chocolates while kneeling down infront of the class entrance, they were alone as it was just before morning assembly, serenity surrounded them, Nina was over the moon, so much that there was an toothy grin on her round face, her eyes sparkling simply she was in aww.

It was so touching because he brought all of those things by his saved up pocket money, Nina made him stand up while holding his gifts near her chest causing him to grin from ear to ear too. They didn't know what love was at that time, just enjoying their time together.  

Their unofficial adorable relationship remained a sweet secret, known only to them, as they navigated the joys and challenges of elementary school together. They were just kids who liked each other presence, they didn't about love they just wanted to stay by each other side. 

There came a time when Nina had to change schools mid sessions, Heeseung ever so stubborn and persistent followed her along and changed his school too, they were again studying together, their bond more deeper than anything.
