"Sometimes, love waits patiently, tucked away in quiet corners of the heart, until the moment we're finally ready to let it in again."

Heeseung's Pov

When I first arrived here, I never thought I'd be seeing her like this—so breathtaking that it felt like my heart was trying to escape my chest. And now, here we are, wrapped up in a kiss that feels like it could break every boundary we've ever known. I look at her, really look at her, and all I can think is that I'm truly "moonstruck." Like the lyrics say, "you got me moonstruck," and it feels like I'm floating, totally taken by her. Don't mind me, my romantic musician side is coming out.

Her shyness catches me off guard, especially since she was the one who leaned in first. She quickly hides her face, her cheeks turning that familiar shade of pink. I chuckle, wrapping her in a hug that feels as though it could last forever. I hold her close, and for the first time, I know I never want to let her go.

Right now, "it's only you," just like the song says, "under the moonlight, lost in the night, you got me moonstruck." I feel like I'm soaring beyond anything I could have imagined, over the moon, anchored to her like a force I can't fight. And I promise you, Kim Nina, I'm not letting go this time. Even if my parents come back, even if the whole world tries to interfere, I'll stand by you. "You're my one and only," and I mean that with everything in me.

I love you, infinitely. I'll fight for you this time, and I swear, I won't let you down again.

I shifted slightly, trying to adjust myself. My waist was starting to ache from holding her in the same position for so long. I should really break this hug now, I thought, but just as I tried to pull back, she tightened her grip, burrowing her face into the crook of my neck. Her soft breath tickled my skin, and I froze.

“Gosh,” I muttered under my breath, feeling my heart nearly stop. “Kim Nina, are you trying to kill me here?”

She didn’t respond with words, just let out a small hum that sounded far too content. My chest swelled with affection, but at the same time, my back was screaming for mercy.

“Nina,” I whispered, my voice almost pleading, “as much as I love holding you like this—and trust me, I do—I think my waist might be about to give out.”

She finally looked up, her eyes slightly drowsy from how at peace she seemed. “Then don’t let me go,” she murmured, pouting slightly. “Just hold me a little longer.”

Kill me now, I thought. How could someone be this adorable? But I really couldn’t stand the awkward angle anymore, so, without thinking much, I bent down slightly and scooped her up into my arms in one fluid motion.

She squealed, her arms quickly locking around my neck as her wide eyes met mine. “Heeseung! What are you doing?” she exclaimed, half-laughing, half-panicked.

“Well,” I teased, smirking at her, “since you don’t want to let go and my waist can’t take it, I figured this was the best solution. Practical, right?”

Her face turned an even deeper shade of red as she squirmed slightly. “You’re crazy!”

“Crazy about you,” I said without missing a beat, my tone playful but my eyes completely sincere.
