Laying in Maddie and Abbi's guest room with Santana was nice, it was secluded in a completely different section of the house. We couldn't hear anything from that side of the house, probably a good thing on their wedding night. Homophobic protesters stood outside the church, gay marriage was legalized last week and not everyone was as cool with it as they should be.

"I love Maddie and Abbi" Santana said, I looked down at her. She looked gorgeous in one of Abbi's pajama short sets. I had somehow convinced myself I was in love with Santana, and I know she felt the same.

"Me too, I'm glad Mads finally found someone she's happy with. I gotta say, I wish our family accepted homosexuals more. It was hard for her, it was hard for me and it's going to be hard for whoever else wants to come out." I said sadly.

"But you're bisexual right? Like you're not just using me for sex, are you?"

I looked at Santana, her fierce brown eyes shone in the light of the clock across from her. She was afraid to be hurt, and I definitely felt something when I was with her. "I would never use you, Tana."

"Good." She whispered, kissing the side of my bare chest. I smiled at her before closing my eyes.

"Goodnight S"

"Goodnight Fievel" She whispered before following suit.

"Get out of my house you good for nothing piece of shit" My dad bellowed before forcing two more blows to my stomach. I choked and gasped for air.

"Dad I'm sorry"

"No! Shut the fuck up" He shouted again, pushing me against the wall.

"You're disgusting Sebastian." Santana said, lingering in the doorway.

"I can't believe how awful you are," Rory said "you gay

"Wait Rory I thought you said it was okay!" I begged as my friends and family came into the room, taking turns kicking me in the face, head and stomach. I cried out in pain waiting for it to end before  finally blacked out...

I bolted upright, wiping sweat off of my forehead. I looked around the room frantically, the walls were still painted a deep shade of purple and Santana still slept soundly next to me. I heard a knock at the bedroom door, I turned to the clock to see it read 3:47 AM and went to answer the door.

Maddie stood there, tears pouring down her face uncontrollably. My eyes widened before I could ask her why she was crying. "Abbi - she kil- she's gone"

I didn't quite understand what happened, Maddie's choppy sentences didn't add up correctly and I couldn't tell what she what she was trying to say but I knew it wasn't good because Maddie doesn't every cry.

"What happened Mads?" I asked her softly as I held her in my arms.

She sniffled before pulling away. "Abbi left a note on the side of the bed, it was a note that said goodbye and when I was walking around the house trying to find where she was, I found her in our bathtub, her wrists were bleeding and she was dead. I called 911 before I came here, there was nothing they could do. Abbi is dead"

"What? Why would she do something like this?"

"She got fired, she couldn't face me or her family. She had a lot of issues Seb."

"Mads, I'm so sorry. I don't even know what to say aside from that. I love you so much, why don't you let us stay a few days?"

"I can't afford to keep the house, Ab's job was paying half of the expenses. Now I'm going to have to work to pay it off, until I can pay it off and then find somewhere else to stay until I can get back on my feet."

"Doesn't her money go to you now that she's... gone?" I asked. Maddie looked at me, nodding sadly.

"It won't be enough, we put a down payment on this house. It will be enough to cover bills for a few months, but it won't do anything in the long run."

Santana's POV

I heard whispering, when my eyes fluttered open I was looking at Sebastian and Maddie standing in the doorway of the bedroom.

"What's happening?" I whispered, Sebastian's head turned and he gave me a sad smile.

Once Maddie explained everything I put my hand on her shoulder, rubbing it affectionately. "You can stay with me, money isn't a big deal for me or my family. I have a pull out couch you can sleep on, a car to commute with and I'm sure I can put some money down for the house to help.

"Me too" Sebastian said, digging through his wallet to write a cheque.

"You guys really don't have to do this-" Maddie whispered.

"We don't, but we want to. You're family to Sebastian and Abbi was a special girl. Come on in, lets get you calmed down and maybe you could get some sleep before tomorrow. We can make arrangements in the morning." I said softly, leading her to the bed. Sebastian and I crawled in on either side of her, holding her as she shook, letting tears fall down her face.

"I love you" I mouthed to Sebastian.

"I love you too" he mouthed back, stroking Maddie's hair.
