Chapter 3
You walk my way,
Oh god it's so
Frustrating...Jack
Before I knew it, the day was Saturday and it was 4:30 in the afternoon.
The week passed by quickly, and it was already much different from the past three years of high school that I've experienced. Since I've been getting along with Merida, she introduced me to Hiccup and Rapunzel.
I talk to them regularly now, and according to Sandy, some people in the school considered me to be a new member in their friend group.
My friendship with all of them also caused people to start noticing me and even talking to me, which I found shocking.
I considered all of them to be my friends, although Sandy was still my closest friend out of everyone.
I couldn't really categorize Elsa to be someone that I talked to regularly and consider her to be one of my close friends. Mostly due to the fact that I'm too shy to talk to her.
It was frustrating that I was able to get along with everyone else and speak to them normally, but get totally flustered around her.
I invited Sandy to come with us to Hans' party, but he politely declined. He isn't a party person, which I understood. Usually I'm not either.
Yet here I was, getting ready to go to one.
I was anticipating the night, wondering how my first official high school party would go.
I was in my bedroom, standing at the foot of my bed, watching Merida rummage through my clothes to find me an outfit for the night.
She was already dressed, she told me it was a white crop top with some black high waisted jeans.
Whatever that means.
She had some red flannel on top of her outfit and a black hat that kept her red frizzy hair down a little.
"Are you done looking through my closet? If you keep looking you're going to end up finding a banana peel or something." I said and sat on my bed.
She scoffed as she looked at me over her shoulder.
"I already found three banana peels. And no, I'm not done! Now shush." She said and I chuckled.
I watched as she continued to look through my closet, her back facing me.
She pulled out a striped T-shirt.
"Yes." She murmured quietly, placing it next to me on the bed. I chuckled and continued to watch her.
She found a pair of khakis, and a jean jacket.
"Jack, this will look great. Put it on and I'll find some shoes for you to wear with it." She said happily.
"You don't want to touch my shoes." I joked and her face immediately scrunched up in disgust.
"Ew!" She groaned out.
I laughed and started taking my shirt off.
"Whoa Jack. We just met." Merida joked and playfully gasped as she clutched her chest.
I laughed.
"You're cool with this, right?" I asked and motioned to me.
"Yeah dude, it's cool. I go to the pool a lot. I'm used to seeing shirtless guys." She replied and I chuckled.
I took off my shirt but I felt her eyes travel to my body.
"Y'know, I can go change in the bathroom..." I trailed off and felt my cheeks heat up.
