Chapter 7
Cuz every time you touch my
hand, you feel my powers
running through your veins.
Jack
We walked upstairs to my bedroom.
I grinned to myself, the thought of what happened here last time she came began running through my mind.
Elsa put her backpack on the ground and sat on my bed.
"So, if we're going to do it on the history of the UK, what should we put in the power point and the essay?" She asked and I sat down next to her.
We began to think of ideas for our project together as we sat side-by-side. She lied down on her stomach as she wrote down the ideas that I suggested.
"Um, how do you spell auspicious?" She asked and I laughed.
I lied down next to her, and grabbed the pencil from her hand.
As I touched her skin, I felt my stomach erupt in butterflies. I looked at her, and we both blushed.
No, fuck it.
I felt the damn zoo.
She giggled as I started writing down the word, looking away from her.
"So... anyway, about the power point presentation, you know that program on computers and laptops? We can use that, those look nice." I said and she nodded.
"Okay. While you work on setting all that up, I'll work on starting the essay. Good?" She said and handed me my laptop.
"Yeah, sounds like a plan." I said, beginning to work on the power point.
After about 30 minutes of working in silence, Elsa groaned.
"This is so boring! Let's watch TV." She said and I laughed.
I turned on my TV, and played a movie on Netflix. Elsa rested her head on my shoulder, and I smiled to myself as she did so on her own accord.
I rested my head against the top of her head, and we continued to watch the show.
There was knocking at the door, before Jamie walked in.
"Jack, I need help opening the milk carton." He said and Elsa laughed.
"I'll do it. I'm pretty strong." Elsa joked and I rolled my eyes.
"Are you guys dating?" Jamie asked with a smirk on his face.
I got off my bed and walked up to him.
"No, you little devil child." I said and grabbed the milk carton from him and opened it.
"There. Now leave!" I said and pushed him out.
"Jack and Elsa are dating!" He sang out loud before I shut the door, turning to look at Elsa sheepishly.
"Sorry." I mumbled, embarrassed, and sat back down next to Elsa, who was giggling.
"It's okay, he's cute. If you don't mind me asking, why does he look nothing like you or your mom?" She asked.
I bit my lip.
"I'm sorry! Didn't mean to-"
"No, it's okay. I got my hair and eyes from our mom. Jamie ended up getting his hair and eyes from our dad." I explained.
"So where is your dad? Is he off at work all the time like mine?" She asked.
Dang, she's pretty nosy.
I better get used to it.
"Uh, he passed away a few years ago." I said simply and went back to watching the show.
"Oh, crap. Sorry Jack, I seriously didn't mean to be so nosy and shit." Elsa said, frowning, and I nodded.
"It's cool though, I don't mind. I'm going to have to get used to your nosiness." I said.
She chuckled.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, I'm going to be around you more." I said and she nodded.
We continued to talk with one another, not even bothering about the project.
Elsa
Jack was talking about what him and Merida were doing one day, and I laughed at his story.
When he finished, he smiled at the memory.
"I should go check on Jamie. Want to come with me?" He asked and I chuckled.
"Sure. He's adorable." I said and laughed.
We walked downstairs and saw Jamie eating popcorn while watching Cartoon Network.
"Ooh, mind if I join?" I asked and sat next to him, grabbing some popcorn.
"Had no idea you were into Cartoon Network, Elsa. You're like a 12 year old!" Jack said and I chuckled.
"Whatever. You know you love me." I joked and continued to watch with Jamie.
But I couldn't help but notice Jack, in the corner of my eye, watch me with a huge smile on his face.
