"You're going on a date with Dorian tonight?" Mina arched a brow during lunch as I sat across from her and Bonnie who was devouring her spaghetti.
I wasn't fixing to share the details on why it was happening, so all I could do was nod to her question with a frown.

"Since my emotions are all screwed up right now, I'm going to take Rocky up on his suggestion by trying to live a little, plus this will make Dorian leave me alone once he realizes, I was never worth his time." I shrugged.

Bonnie stopped eating long enough to glare at me.
She had spaghetti sauce on her mouth which was more distracting than her glare.

"Bitch, you are worth it, stop being so fucking depressing. Hell, I can't even enjoy my spaghetti because you're announcing you'll be going on a date tonight, to only say, you won't be worth his time." Bonnie rolled her brown eyes as Mina smiled softly.

"Babe, look at me." She told her girlfriend who blinked looking at the other.
Mina giggled taking a napkin before wiping Bonnie's mouth.
"You had sauce on your face." She told the other.
Bonnie stared before smiling softly.
"You could have just told me, instead of doing something as embarrassing as wiping my mouth for me." She told her.
Mina grinned.
"I'd rather do it." She argued.

Bonnie grinned before her eyes locked on me.
"Are you taking notes, bitch? This is how you flirt and actually feel happy." She told me.
My eye twitched.
"That's easier to say considering the two of you have been dating since the eighth grade." I pointed out.
Bonnie smirked at me.
"You didn't even know us in the eighth grade." She argued.
I shrugged.
"It wouldn't surprise me if you guys had been dating though." I replied.

Mina smiled softly.
"I guess you won't be surprised then." She commented as I looked back to the other.
"That's impressive." I admitted as Mina smiled at me.
"It's called patience and communication, look Jinx, I know the idea of going on a date with someone like Dorian is going to be nerve wrecking for you, but I really think you'll enjoy yourself if you actually give Dorian a chance, you owe yourself some kind of happiness." She told me.

I blinked before sighing softly.
"You two really know how to boost someone's confidence." I told them.
Bonnie grinned.
"Well of course bitch, we're not friends for nothing." She told me.
I stared before smiling softly.

When the bell rang for school to be let out, I had plans to walk home, I really didn't feel like being cramped in a vehicle or ride the bus.
I needed time to think and come to terms with the fact, I'm going on a date tonight.
My first date.
I had no idea how those even worked or what to expect.
It made my stomach knot up just thinking about it.
Maybe I'll just bail on Dorian.
..
No.
It's like Mina said, I owe myself some kind of happiness, no thanks to Kaiser and his loyal followers, who took off the moment he was killed.

"Need a ride home?"
I stood outside of the building before turning to Dorian who stood there, his helmet in hand as I frowned at him.
"No, I need some air, so I'm going to walk home." I told him.
Dorian frowned before he rubbed the side of his neck.

"Look, Jinx, if you don't want to go out tonight. Just say the word, I don't want you to feel pressured, I know how you feel about me and I don't want you to think you have to go out, just because we made out in the restroom this morning." He told me.
My face grew warm before I glared looking away.

"C-Can you keep that to yourself? I don't need the whole school knowing about this morning." I murmured suddenly, embarrassed.
Dorian blinked but smirked softly.
"My bad, I just-"
"And I want to go tonight, if I didn't want to, I would have shot you down just like the other times you couldn't take a hint." I cut him off as I looked back at him now.
Dorian stared as I frowned.
"It's just hard for me to adjust to the idea of going out on a date, I mean..." My face was burning like fire.
