**Jinx**

I wasn't sure how I would even initiate this conversation.
One was a complete horn dog and the other seemed to know how to restrain himself.
But how do I tell two vampire's to mark me, because I unfortunately won the attention of another fucking headache?
I wasn't even that freaking entertaining.
I knew I was at least attractive, but other than that? I was a sharp tongued asshole.

I stood in the restroom stall, rubbing my temples in frustration.
It was too soon.
I looked at the door with furrowed brows.
We've only officially been together for a month, and here I was, trying to get marked all because a demon was interested in me.
OR.
He was just after me to piss Ricky off.

And I already knew that demon had gotten to Ricky, because it wasn't often you'd see his green eyes go black just because.

I bit my thumbnail, sucking in some air, I let out a frustrated sigh.
Fuck me...

Stepping out of the stall, I turned to walk to the sinks but paused.
That guy who looked like a total pushover was in here.
But he was crouched in the corner like he was avoiding class.
Not that I blamed him.

Staring, I ignored the other because I really didn't need to get involved, not to mention, that wasn't my character.
But.
I won't lie, he really did look like one of those kids who secretly needed help but didn't know how to ask.

"Are you avoiding class or the students?" I found myself asking as I lathered my hands in the soap, washing them as I focused on the running water.

"..."
I looked in the mirror, and his baby blue eyes were locked right on me.
I turned to him, my brow arched.
"Hey." I stepped towards him but paused when he flinched.
I raised my hands in defense.
"I wasn't going to touch you, are you okay..?" I asked him.

The blond just stared before he placed his face in his knees, bringing the hood to cover his head.
Blinking, I could only let out a sigh.
"Right, okay, well I have to get to class. My advice? Whatever is keeping you from going, be the bigger person and face your demons head on." I told him.
The blond looked back up at me, his brows knitted before he looked straight ahead.

Watching him, I sighed before stepping out of the restroom and made my way to second period.

"There you are, is everything okay?" Dorian asked me as I walked into the classroom to join him and my half brother.
I rubbed the side of my neck feeling awkward.
"Not really, after school today I need to talk to you and Ricky." I told him.
Dorian made a face.
"You're not ending this are you?" He carefully asked.
I shook my head a little too quick than I wanted, but my response seemed to relieve him.

"It's personal, and it might seem like it's rushing things, but I'll leave it up to you two on what you think we should do." I said taking a seat at my desk.

Dorian arched a brow.
"I may have an idea on what this conversation is about, but did something happen?" He frowned at me.
I could feel my face trying to burn.
"Just a headache trying to cause issues." I replied.
-------
When lunch came around, I was a little more than thrilled to know it was pizza and salad day.
I was craving both.
But it also meant, we would be seeing those demons as well.
Or well, Cerberus would be sensing them and seeming on alert the whole time.

"We only have three classes after this and then we can go home, right?" Cerberus asked me, picking at his salad.
I nodded looking at the other.
"Yeah, gym class is next and then we'll have fifth period." I told him.
Cerberus let out a soft sigh.
"I'd like the day to be over with, I've been sensing them all day." He frowned taking a bite of his salad.
I frowned at the other as Ricky and Dorian joined us, followed by Quin's new group.

"I ran across the quiet one in the restroom, I don't think he's much of a talker though." I said taking a bite of my pizza.
Cerberus looked at me with furrowed brows.
"You need to stay away from them, Jinx, I told you-"
"But you also said the quiet one seemed like us-"
"He's involved with the other demons that are full of malice." Cerberus frowned at me.
"Don't get involved with them." He told me.

"I know he's new to the family, but I have to agree with Cerbie over here." Ricky commented as Cerberus's eye twitched.
"Don't give me a weird nickname like it's natural." He told the other blond.
Ricky blinked before smirking softly.
"I'll try but am I really doing my job as your brother's boyfriend, if I'm not aggravating his siblings as well?" He asked.

"First of all, Jinx doesn't aggravate us, he just pisses us off." Quin shrugged taking a bite of his own pizza.
My eye twitched.
"Like how you piss me off?" I asked.
Quin grinned with a shrug.
"I guess I'm doing my job right then, huh?" He smiled.

"Anyways, back to what Cerberus said a moment ago, I also agree. If they are trouble, you don't need to involve yourself, Jinx." Dorian told me.
I blinked before frowning softly.
"Even if they are the shy quiet type." He added.

I sat there before continuing to eat the rest of my pizza in silence.
That was going to be easier said than done.
Especially when that guy seemed like he was in the wrong crowd.
But they were right.
No matter how bad I wanted to.
I knew.
I didn't need to get involved.
------
When fourth period rolled around, it was exactly as I feared.
That demon who was causing issues, was in this class with us.
And his eyes were already on me.
But I noticed, that pale kid, a brunet with black eyes and another blond with green eyes were also here.
That made five and a half demons in gym class.
And it felt like a dangerous situation.

"Did you interact with that guy in first period?" Cerberus asked me as we walked to the track.
I frowned.
"Unfortunately, but he started it." I glared as Cerberus glared back.
"I told you not to-"
"It wasn't like I planned to talk to him, the guy was a complete dick anyway." I growled.

"Aw, if you keep talking about me like that, you may make me blush."
My chest grew tight as we stopped walking and turned, only to find the four demons not far behind us.

"Trust me, the idea of you blushing over me is a disgusting thought." I replied.
"Jinx, shut up." Cerberus growled at me.

"I thought I sensed another demon in the school, it was you." The blond boldly stepped up and sized my brother up and down.
"Full blood, nice, you I can introduce myself to. You can call me Devi Porter." He told Cerberus.
Cerberus frowned at him as Devi smiled.
"Your name?" He requested.

Cerberus glared before sighing.
"Until my last name changes, it's Cerberus Silva." He didn't sound happy introducing himself to the other.
Devi grinned.
"Like the hell hound of the underworld, how fitting for you." He smirked.
Cerberus's eye twitched.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He dared to ask.

Devi grinned wickedly as he stepped up further, his chest almost touching the others as he leaned in.
"It means, you're a loyal pet to the end who follows his master everywhere he goes." He replied.
Cerberus let out a low growl.
"Is there a reason you're picking a fight with me and my brother?" He asked him.
Devi blinked before smiling.
"Is that how you're taking what I'm doing?" He inquired.
Cerberus glared.
"It's pretty obvious." He growled.
Devi was smiling but it wasn't meeting his eyes.

"Maybe I like keeping other demons on their toes? Especially the uptight ones." He teased with a shrug.
Cerberus's brows furrowed.
"Uptight?" He repeated confused.
Devi smirked.
"You.Are.Uptight, the only thing going for you right now is your face, I mean your ass is nice too but your personality? Yikes." He faked a yawn.

Cerberus stepped forward but I forced my hand to stop the other.

Devi arched a brow.
"Oh? Do you have something to add, Jinx the half baked demon?" He asked me.
I glared harshly at the other.
"You can toss your insults all you want if it gets your dick hard, but you're not going to insult my brother and think just because you're a demon, you can get away with it." I told him.

Devi blinked before stepping towards me but my eyes grew wide at how fast Dorian ripped me back and Ricky was shoving me behind them.
"And that action right there? Is what makes you so much more interesting than your uptight brother, two vampires protecting you? How exciting, but how devastating it'll be the moment you're alone, and they lose their chance to mark you as theirs." Devi stepped back.

Dorian glared at him.
"What do you mean by that?"
Devi smiled.
"It means, your feisty little boyfriend is still up for grabs in the marking department." He shrugged.

I felt sick standing there.
Dorian glared at him.
"Why come after Jinx? There are other demons in this school now, so why him?" He demanded.

Devi smiled.
"I like his attitude, you don't see it often, especially when he's half baked." He answered.
Ricky glared harshly.
"He's not up for grabs." He growled.
Devi looked to the other.
"You really have no idea how easily a demon can mark someone, do you?" He tilted his head before sighing.
"You vampires are so disappointing." He snapped his fingers in seconds.

Dorian and Ricky were being shoved away from me and Devi was standing right behind me.
His hand on my neck as I went to move, but his other hand caught my waist, holding me completely still.

"Let him go." Ricky growled as Devi grinned wickedly.
"I just love how feisty you vampires get over different situations." His index finger brushed against my neck watching the two.
"If you don't want to lose him, I suggest marking him, because if I wanted to?" I let out a sharp gasp at how fast he snapped my neck to the side.
"I could mark him right here and now in front of you." He warned with a devious tone before shoving me at Dorian and Ricky, who both held me close.

Devi watched before yawning.
"Tic toc vampires, your time is running out." He told us before walking away with his group.

I stood there trembling, I felt weak in the knees as my whole body felt cold as ice.

"Jinx-"
"Mark me." I turned to them, not caring how desperate I sounded.
My body felt like it was on fire as I shoved my face into Dorian's chest and my hand grabbed the center of Ricky's shirt, not caring if I messed it up as I stood there.

"What if he's bluffing?" Dorian asked me.
"You'll be stuck with us-"
"I don't care!" I looked at them now, my face burning with anger, embarrassment and fear.
"I'll learn to deal with it, you guys can't sense it, only Cerberus can and there was nothing but a malice atmosphere when he was behind me just now." I told them.

"What about your parents? They're still working on warming up to Ricky, and then there's Cerberus-"
"Let me be fucking selfish this one time, please." I glared at them with tears in my eyes.

Dorian and Ricky exchanged looks before looking back at me.
"Jinx-"
"Fuck it, forget it." I snapped storming past them and my brother.
My body was hot and I felt sick when that creeps hand even touched me.
And now I sounded like a desperate slut wanting to be marked.

I stormed into the locker room and went straight for the showers, I needed ice water.
I needed to cool down.
That feeling I thought I was controlling, was taking back over and I had to get away from the noise.
I had to control it so I wouldn't hurt another person.

I stripped from my clothes and went into the shower stall, turning the water on as my eyes burned fiercely.

I stood there fixing to step into the water before there was a knock on the stalls door.
Turning to it, my brows furrowed and I cautiously unlocked it to only find both Ricky and Dorian there.
They let themselves in and before I knew it.

Dorian's lips were on mine and Ricky's fangs were piercing my right shoulder.
I went to scream but my voice was muffled by the kiss.
I could smell the blood mixing with the water.
And once Ricky was done, Dorian was breaking the kiss and Ricky's lips were on mine as Dorian's fangs pierced my left collar bone.
Tears slipped past my eyes as the pain echoed throughout my body.

My arms were hooking around Ricky's neck as I tried to control my breathing, before my fangs were piercing his neck and his blood was all I could taste.
When I finished marking him, I felt exhausted but my fangs were piercing Dorian's left shoulder.
Tears were burning my eyes, because I wanted to go further than this.
But I knew we couldn't.
Not while we were at school.
And my body felt like it was going to burst into flames any second.
-----
"Well.... any regrets?" Dorian questioned sitting in the shower stall as I sat between the two.
I had my shorts back on as my head rested against Ricky's shoulder.
"No... do either of you have regrets?" I asked them.

They were both quiet and it made me feel sick.

"Not at all." Dorian answered first.
"I mean I was planning on marking you one way or another, but this was probably the safest way if that demon dick is after you." Ricky shrugged.

I sat there staring at the stall door.
We rushed things, I knew we did.
And I was bound to end up getting yelled at by my parents.
But when they learn why, I know they'll be fine with it.

And now that I was marked to these two, I didn't know where life was going to take me.
But I did know, I would have to keep an eye on Cerberus.
I know we could all tell but.

He drew a target on his back when he spoke to Devi.
And it was obvious, Cerberus won that guy's attention.

But like most stories, and because I'm mentally and physically exhausted.
I'm going to give one of my other siblings a turn at story telling.
Let them have a chance at falling in love with someone.
Or fall in love with multiple.
Who am I to judge?

I just know.
Those demons are fixing to be a massive headache.
I hope you are ready.
Because I'm not.
