Hazel continued the rest of her school day looking over her shoulder to see if Ebony was ever around. She told Scarlette about what Raven and Eve had told her, and Scarlette wouldn't leave her alone after that. Every time Hazel heard a laugh, she would freeze and turn pale. Scarlette would have to calm her down and reassure her that Ebony wasn't there.

Meanwhile throughout the rest of her school day, weird things started happening to Hazel. Dirt appeared on the ground whenever she was sitting. Her cold water bottle would suddenly turn burning hot, causing her to yelp in pain. She'd suddenly feel cold even though she was wearing a jacket.

At first, Hazel thought this was Ebony's doing. But Ebony's power was only fire. Plus, Ebony (as it seemed) was nowhere around Hazel. She started to think that Raven and Eve were lying to her, and that Ebony told them to say that.

But then came the end of the day. It was the last period.

"You sure you'll be fine, Haze?"

Hazel smiled.

"I'll be fine, Scarlette. Go to the bathroom!"

She laughed as Scarlette smirked and left.

Not even 30 seconds later, Ebony appeared in front of Hazel. Hazel eyes widened and backed away.

"So... it's true then? You don't have a power?"

Hazel turned pale. Ebony had figured it out. But... how? Hazel could have just been hiding her power, but Ebony said it with so much confidence. Someone must have told her... but who?

"H-How did you find out...?"

Ebony laughed.

"No one knows this... but I had my ex-minions set up mini cameras with built in tiny microphones all over the school, at the beginning of the year."

Hazel's eyes widened. She had forgotten about the cameras. As a matter of fact, everyone knew about the cameras. But no one told Ebony or her minions that they knew.

"O-Oh..."

Ebony kept closing in on Hazel.

"P-Please, Ebony... leave me alone... what did I even do to you?"

Ebony smirked and stopped walking.

"You want to know a little secret, Hazel?"

Ebony spoke in a threateningly sweet tone that scared Hazel. She had a bad feeling about this. Ebony got frustrated when Hazel didn't answer her question.

"Are you deaf or something?! I said, do you want to know a secret or not, you little imbecile?!"

Hazel flinched at Ebony's harsh tone.

"O-Ok..."

Ebony now smiled in a menacing way.

"You wanna know why I torture you?"

"Um, s-sure.."

Ebony placed a hand in front of her and produced fire. She faced the flame, but looked at Hazel. Hazel didn't like how Ebony was smiling like a maniac one bit.

Ebony got close and whispered in Hazel's ear.

"I do it for fun."

Hazel's eyes widened, as Ebony chuckled.

For... for fun? Ebony tortured, hurt and bullied other people just for fun? What kind of maniac did that?! That was sick! Hazel's fists curled.

"Hehe... what's wrong, Hazel? Is the little-wittle baby gonna cry again?"

Hazel had finally had enough. She hadn't gotten this mad in a long time, but she suddenly snapped. She grabbed Ebony by her uniform's collar, gritting her teeth, and looked Ebony in the eyes. A sudden fire in her eyes made Ebony turn pale. Not only did no quiet people stand up to Ebony, but Hazel's angry look scared Ebony.
