The school day ended and Hazel was in the last period of the day, smiling wide. She had gone back to the principal. As baffled as he and the other two FBI agents from earlier were, they said that it wasn't  a glitch! Hazel didn't know why she believed them, but she did.

Scarlette was ecstatic about it. Hazel only told Scarlette that she had earth, though. She didn't know why, but she felt like telling Scarlette about this was too soon. She'd find the right time to tell her. In fact, she decided to tell Scarlette when not so many people were around. Even if Scarlette was sitting right next to her.

Scarlette screamed so loud when Hazel whispered to her about getting the earth element, that the whole class turned to look at Scarlette, all with confused and surprised faces. They hadn't heard what Hazel said, though. Hazel blushed in embarrassment and quickly went back to doing her worksheet like nothing happened, but Scarlette grinned widely the entire class.

Hazel hadn't told her family the truth about the glitch yet, either. In fact, it hadn't come up since yesterday. It was very lucky for her that her family completely forgot about it.

Everyone started packing up, since it was just a few minutes till the end of class. Scarlette kept talking to Hazel, throughout the whole class.

"See girl? I told  you that you'd get an element! Honestly, I can't think of a better match for you."

Hazel smiled, a bit guilty about lying to Scarlette. What could she do, though? There were too many people, and Hazel's school was a good one at gossiping. People had sharp ears there, as well.

Suddenly, all the lights went out. Everybody looked at each other with confused expressions. They all talked simultaneously. It wasn't just the classroom, though. The entire school's lights went out. Everyone stepped outside to look at what happened.

Suddenly, fire raged in the school hallways. It devoured the lockers, the floor, the ceiling, the walls and basically everything. The sprinklers turned on, but there wasn't enough water to put out the fire. The fire was raging closer to all the classrooms, and everyone was screaming wildly and loudly. There were running everywhere the fire wasn't.

The teachers were all urging the children out of the school. The first floor people had no problem, and neither did the second floor people. They all had many ladders in the classrooms to help climb out of the windows.

There were just a few people left to get out of Hazel's classroom, including herself and Scarlette. Everyone was coughing from too much smoke inhalation. The people with air and water elements couldn't use their elements properly since they weren't in good condition to do so.

As more people headed out the classroom, Hazel suddenly heard something. While coughing, Hazel turned to Scarlette.

"H-Hey... Scarlette... did-" Hazel coughed violently. "D-Did you hear th-that?"

Scarlette's eyes were big and puffy. She coughed and looked at Hazel.

"W-What? Hear... what...?"

"T-That scream..."

Scarlette's eyes widened. She was obviously worried for Hazel.

"Oh no... y-you're hallucinating..."

"N-No..."

Hazel coughed again, pressing her hand to her chest. She carefully stepped outside the classroom and looked around for the source of the scream, while Scarlette yelled at her to come back inside.

Hazel looked to a not too far off corner in the right, and saw Ebony. She was stranded.

Hazel's eyes widened, and her mouth fell open.
