A small F/C flame flickered in her palm. The gentle crackling sound only matches the soft glow. Y/N wasn't always sure why she felt calm when just watching the flames. But she did. At least, when she wasn't being bored to death by waiting for so long.

A small squawk brought her out of her small trance. Y/N looked down, smiling at the creature that rested its head on her boot.

Braze, while a very tame lindwyrm, wasn't the smallest creature out there. His head being almost the size of an average human torso, if not bigger, a long snake-like body with two front arms and a tuft of spikes at the end of his tail that followed a pattern up his back. He looked like he was made of molten rock with magma showing through the cracks between his scales. His four big brown bug-eyes shine with the same playfulness of a golden retriever and his tongue rolled out. His horns curved backwards and almost resembled that of a normal dragon.

"Aw, hi, bud. Back from your hunt so soon? Did you have a nice snack?" Y/N cooed, gently scratching under his chin. Braze chirped in response, a small purr emitting from low in his throat.

She chuckled. "Well, aren't you a good boy. Why don't you go terrorize some bull clones while I go check on Red?" She suggested. Braze squawked in delight, scrambling up and bounding off.

Y/N knew Redson would be mad at her for letting her pet wreck some of his bots, but it would be fine. They had more important things to attend to.

Y/N got up from her seat and walked back to the main cavern her brother and mother were at. She stood next to Redson, the two sharing a nod of greetings.

Their mother sighed, placing her hand on her hip. "It feels like I've waited an eternity for this moment." She whispered before turning to her children. "Is everything in order?" She asked.

Redson smirked, his eyes having a small red glow in the dim lighting. "Just making the final adjustments, mother." He replied.

Y/N snickered and nodded. "You mean I'm making final enchantments, brother?" She teased as her hand ran over the gauntlet, a small glow following it before fading into the smooth metal surface.

Y/N always enjoyed messing around with her brother. The two had been working on this for almost two years now. Honestly, she really hoped this would work. After all that hard work they put in. The sleepless nights, the worried doubts.

Princess Iron Fan smiled. "Finally, after all this time. We have the means to lift Monkey King's legendary staff." She stated, a hint of hope in her tone.

She crossed her arms, a softer look on her face. "My love will finally be returned once we remove the staff.- huh?" Her train of thought was interrupted by a bull clone climbing the small hill towards the staff.

Y/N sometimes wondered if Redson gave these things any logic programming with how they acted. But, she was curious how it would play out.

The bull clone just stood there for a moment before grabbing the staff. It tried with all its might to pull it out, the sound of its inner workings echoing and steam pouring out the crevices.

Before its arms popped off and it went flying backwards behind the trio. Y/N turned with her brother to watch it bounce a bit before landing on the ground with a defeated look.

Y/N stood over it and snickered.  Redson stood beside her and looked mildly amused. "You fool. You think we didn't try that, already?" He mocked.

Y/N nodded in response. "It's going to take more than a few robots to lift the Monkey King's staff. Only those deemed worthy can wield it." She taunted, tilting her head and resting it on her hand with a sinister smile.
