Hiccup smiled widely, turning to you as he grabbed both of your hands. "This is it, Y/N!" He beamed, walking backwards as he made his way to the machine, your hands still interlocked with his. "This is our time to shine!"

You slowly looked at the machine, a wave of worry washed over you. "But what about—"

Hiccup blew a raspberry, letting go of your left hand and waving it around nonchalantly. "He doesn't need to know." He reassured, his smile falling before his lips cracked into a grin. "Besides, when the town finds out we shot down a Night Fury, they'll forget about all the trouble we caused!"

You thought for a moment. If you did kill a Night Fury, everyone will call you hero's, not think of you two as the weak Vikings that can't kill a dragon. "Oh, Thor, I can't believe I'm agreeing to this." You chuckled, shaking your head softly.

Hiccup's face lit up as he cheered, earning a laugh out of you. "You won't regret this!" He beamed, giving you a peck on the cheek before turning to his invention, letting go of both of your hands as he tweaked a few quick things that needed to be fixed.

You stood dazed, your cheeks turning a deep red as your fingers ghosted over the area he kissed. You tried to form a sentence but all that came out of you mouth was a bunch of weary 'uhh's and 'umm's. You shook your head, looking at Hiccup as he closed up the machine, his hands on the handle bars. "Ready?" He asked, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.

"Just go before I change my mind." You chuckled, walking around the machine and putting your right hand on the left handle. You let out a yelp as you stumbled over your feet, struggling to keep up with Hiccup as he ran out of the stall.

"Hiccup, Y/N, where are you going?" A man asked, moving out of the way as you both raced through the crowd.

"Get back here!"

Hiccup looked over his shoulder, sending the men an apologetic smile. "Yeah, we know!" He stuttered out, looking forward before dodging a woman.

"Hiccup! Y/N, you too?" She cried, moving out of the way.

"Sorry! We'll be right back!" You called out, laughing at the end of your sentence. "Oh, my Gods, Hiccup!" You both let out a scream, quickly turning to the right as you past by a huge group of people that walked off of the wooden ramp.

Three Nadders circled five sheep, messing around with them as the wooly animals watched in terror, trying to find a way out.

Stoick came to their rescue as he threw a net over the dragons, pinning them down as a few Vikings ran to the dragons.

"Mind yourselves!" Stoick yelled. One of the Nadders fired out fire, Stoick jumping and closing its mouth so the fire couldn't do more damage. "The devils still have some juice in them!"

The two of you ran until you got to the far side of the village, where there wasn't any Vikings or dragons at the moment. It was mostly abandoned at this point, which was perfect for you both as you didn't want to get caught by Stoick.

You took a few steps back from Hiccup, watching in awe as he opened the machine and got it ready in a matter of moments. "Wow..." you muttered, walking back to his side. "You're good at this."
