Astrid gasped, looking over her shoulder as she ran through the woods. She hopped over a fallen down tree before screaming when she was lifted off of the ground. "AH! Oh, Great Odin's ghost! Oh, this is it!" She cried, clinging onto D/N's paw while squirming in her grasp.D/N gently placed her on a tree branch, perching on the top of the three which made it lean forward from the weight.
"Y/N, get me down from here!" She gasped out, holding on for her life while her body swayed back and forth.
"Please, Astrid! Let me explain!" You tried to reason with her, looking down at her.
"Y/N, I'm sorry but, I am not listening to ANYTHING you have to say!" She spat, shuffling away from the edge of the branch.
"Then I won't talk, I'll just show you!" You waved your hands around, leaning forward as you offered a hand. "Please, Astrid."
She let out a sigh, pulling herself up with a grunt before crouching on the branch, her hands still holding onto the wood. She blew her bangs out of her face before hesitatingly taking your hand, pulling away when D/N snarled. With a head shake, she climbed into the saddle, looking down with a gulp. "Now, get me down." She demanded shakily.
You leaned forward and patted her on the side if her neck, her body tense from Astrid climbing on. "D/N, down. Gently." You softly smiled, looking back to Astrid with a warm smile. "See? You're completely fine, nothing to be afraid of."
Her wings opened wide, before shooting off of the tree, making the two of you scream as she flew straight up into the air.
"WHOA!! D/N!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! BAD GIRL!" You scolded, glancing back to Astrid when she flung her arms around your torso, clinging on tightly. You softly exhaled when she started to glide. "She's usually not like this, I-I don't know what got into her. Oh, no..." You gulped when D/N tucked her wings in and began to dive.
Astrid started to scream again, shutting her eyes as she felt the wind harshly moving against her face.
D/N flew just above the ocean before quickly diving in and out of the water, soaking the two of you.
"D/N, what are you doing?! We need her to like us." You spat out some salt water, holding on when she shot back up, spinning as she got higher up. "And now it's time for the spinning. Thank's for nothing, you useless creature."
She started her dive back down to the ocean, completely letting her body spin and turn in whatever way it wanted.
"Okay! I am sorry! I'm sorry!" She sobbed, her face digging into your back. "Just get me off of this thing!"
You both gasped when her wings opened again, stopping the falling before flying to a comfortable distance away from the ocean, beginning her journey up above the clouds.
Toothless and Hiccup soon joined the three of you, the two dragons cooed with one another while they playfully fought with one another before gracefully moving in sync with each other.
Astrid slowly opened her eyes, gasping softly. Her grip around you loosened as she looked at the beautiful sky in front of her, the clouds painted a soft pink and orange.
