Joey's POV

Corey left to retrieve the other band members from the VIP meeting, leaving me uncertain about what to do next. I certainly didn't want Y/N in the room where everyone would be cleaning up and changing. She didn't need to see unnecessary dicks flopping around. As the other band members returned, some began to chuckle, but I was beyond amused.

"Not a word about this," I commanded firmly. "Is that clear to everyone?"

They all nodded in agreement, understanding the seriousness of my request. Clown took two chairs from the room and placed them outside. I set up the chairs next to each other, against the wall. I sat Y/N down with me following suit. She quickly fell asleep on my shoulder, prompting me to tuck her hair over her ear. After what felt like hours they were all cleaned up and ready to go back to the hotel.

"Joey are you gonna clean up?" Paul asked. I wasn't leaving Y/N's side. Not that I felt the other guys would do anything but I felt that I made the mess and now I have to clean it up.

"I'll clean myself up in my hotel room" I answered, "I got it under control."

"Sure you do," Corey teased, earning a glare from me.

I nudged Y/N gently, attempting to wake her. She stirred, eyes barely opening, clearly disoriented. "We're gonna go to the hotel now" I said, "It's only a little walk you can do it." I got Y/N up slowly walking with her praying this couldn't get any worse. We finally got to the car. The car could only fit 10 people so I was at a loss as all the spots were filled leaving no room for her.

Corey held her up as I got into the car. "Y/N you're gonna have to sit on my lap there's no other spot" I sighed. She obliged barely able to get into the car but making herself at home on my lap. The tension in the car was palpable, everyone's eyes fixed on me with varying degrees of judgment.

"I'm really sorry guys," I offered, breaking the silence. "She wasn't this intoxicated when we first started talking."

"Don't worry about it, Joey," Y/N reassured, her words met with skeptical glances from the others.

We had finally made it to the hotel, Corey helping me again pull her out of the car and gain her balance. When we finally made it to my hotel room, I sat Y/N down as I went to grab wet wipes. I came back and slowly started to take off the black paint that I had smudged onto her. As I wiped away the paint, I couldn't shake the guilt weighing on me—this was not how I envisioned the night unfolding.

She was in a tight dress and knew it wouldn't be fun to wake up in that. "Can I take off your dress and put on you in some of my clothes?" I asked.

"Yes Joey" She replied groggily, "Thank you for helping me."

I slipped off her heels before slowly moving the dress down from her body. She was wearing a red lace bra and panties. I couldn't deny she looked so damn good but knew this wasn't the place nor time. I got a black t-shirt and great sweatpants on her. I slowly walked her to the bed, then she laid down and clutched the pillow, hair spilling across the pillowcase. I brushed the hair from her face before heading to the bathroom.

I took off the black paint from my face with some soap and water. I turned on the shower intending to wash myself before heading to bed. However, I heard Y/N call out to me.

"Joeyyyyy" Y/N called out.

"Do you need something Y/N?" I asked.

She murmured "Come to bed, I need your warmth." I wanted to take a shower but didn't want to leave her hanging. The least I could do is fulfill her wishes.

"Just a moment, Y/N," I assured her, hastily changing into a t-shirt and shorts before joining her in bed. She turned around now facing me. Then, she latched onto me pulling me closer to her. She kissed my forehead before slowly drifting into sleep.

I wanted to fall asleep but couldn't. The thoughts of tonight lingered in my mind. Replaying the kiss in my mind over and over again. Would she even remember everything when she woke up? I turned on the TV and spent the majority of the night watching horror movies until I eventually passed out.
