Joey's POV

I kissed Y/N's forehead before I started to speak, "The record label wants to meet us before our next show. We gotta go to the meeting, are you gonna be okay here alone?" She stretched her arms out, opening her eyes in the process. She had a sad look on her face.

"I'll be okay Joey. Just try to come back quick. I'll get too lonely with you" She smiled, "I love you."

I bended over and place a kiss on her lips, "I love you too" I beamed before heading out of the bedroom. I may have lied to her a little bit. We were really going to practice but I needed some time away from her to make the song Jim suggested. I came up with a couple lyrics, a drum pattern, and a guitar riff while she was still asleep. Corey had came back for practice, looking like shit but he seemed sober. We got ourselves in the car before we were headed to the venue. "I want to make a song for Y/N. It doesn't need to be a whole production like we do for our songs but just something for her" I admitted.

"So the song will be about your love for her or?" Paul questioned.

"It's not really about me. It's about her ex and the things he did to her" I explained, "Corey I think you make a great singer for it but you got to make up with Y/N."

"I wanted to talk to her but didn't want to push her especially after yesterday" Corey replied, "I want to apologize man."

"Well you can also apologize to her by doing this song with me" I advised.

Corey pleaded, "I'll do whatever you want me to do Joey. My brain is so fucked though, I can't come up with any lyrics."

"I already came up with some of the lyrics" I stated.

"Let me see" Jim instructed.

I showed him the notebook paper I had been writing the lyrics on.

Do you feel like a man

When you push her around?

Do you feel better now, as she falls to the ground?

Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's got to end

As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found

"That's the chorus I suppose" I uttered.

Cover up with make up in the mirror

Tell yourself it's never gonna happen again

You cry alone and then he swears he loves you

"I don't know where that would go yet" I stated.

"I think it's great, I mean you're gonna know her better than any of us" Jim assured.

"I made a drum pattern and a guitar riff but I don't have the actual instruments so I'm not sure if it's sounds good" I added.

"I'm sure it'll all come together Joey" Sid chimed in. We got to the venue where we got into our places.

"Play what you have for the drums" Clown instructed. I started to play the drum pattern I came up with. Clown added a few keg hits in between my playing. I finished playing the drums.

"I think it sounds great now use my guitar to do the riff" Jim said. I put the guitar on and played the riff. Jim took the guitar back and put his on spin on it.

"That. That's it" I spoke. Corey started to work out how he was going to sing as Paul and I kept working on the rest of the lyrics. Jim, Mick, and Paul worked out the guitars while Sid found where to place some scratching into the song. After some time, I finally felt good about the lyrics, the drums, the singing, the guitar, the percussion, everything.
