Pidge knows she's closer than ever finding her brother.

She finally breaks down when she fails again, but luckily, Keith is always there to help her.

Let's hope no one stops him from conquering the girl's heart.

She was so close, she just knew it.

Pidge only needed a few more vargas of working and she would be done.

Finally.

The girl was determined she would find Matt.

Never had she been this close to her goal since she found that camera footage. She could already imagine herself running up to him and hugging the life out of him while threatening that if he ever disappeared again she would hate him forever.

The sound of her keyboard kept on becoming faster and faster. Her dry eyes were dancing across the screen attentively observing the numbers on it.

She was so close, she was so close, she was s-

"Pidge!"

She almost jumped out of her chair when she heard a voice calling her name loudly. From the tone of the voice, she probably didn't hear the other attempt. "What? In case you can't see, my hands are already full right now."

The voice, Shiro's, was closer now, then she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Could you at least look at me while we talk? Please?"

With a sigh, she observed her screen once more before forcing herself to look at her leader, "Fine, but be fast."

He pulled a chair she kept close by and sat next to her. For a moment, he didn't say a single word. He only stared at her as if he was trying to understand everything that was going on inside her brain.

She hates it when people do that.

"I'm worried, we all are. We barely see you anymore except at practice or during missions. And as soon as those are finished, you disappear again. You can take a break, you know, no one would blame you."

"Shiro, I appreciate your concern, but I'm perfectly fine. I'm this close to finding Matt, I simply cannot stop now. Now could you leave, I need all the concentration I can get." Pidge only gave him one last look before looking once again at her computer.

But that didn't stop him.

"Look Pidge, I understand. I want to see him again too, but you look completely exhausted and you need to spend some time with the team, not only your tech."Before she could respond, he kept going. "Outside of training and missions. I promise, it will do you good. Once you feel better, you can start looking again, with breaks."

The girl abruptly got up, took the things she needed and left Green's hangar, ignoring the worry of her lion and Shiro's who quickly followed her.

"You don't get it! I know I'm close, if I stop now, I may never find him! So, LEAVE ME ALONE!" her bedroom door shut behind her before Shiro could say another word.

The black paladin looked defeatedly at the door. He took a big breath, "Fine, do what you want, but if you want to talk, we're there for you. All of us. Don't forget to eat and sleep."

With that, he was gone and she was back to work.

Who needs sleep anyway, she'll get it once she has her brother back.

"No. No. No. No. No. It can't be! Why won't it work! Stupid quiznacking computer! Stupid Galra! Stupid- ahh!" A loud crash resonated through the green paladin lab.
