It's like the sun is smiling with you,
the warm light kissing your face as your eyes shine with glitters of white and gold.
And everyone looks at you and wonders,
wonders how you can still smile in such a cruel world,
wonders how you can hold so much happiness within yourself.
But what they don't see is that,
behind that smile is someone who has fought battles upon battles,
has solved problems upon problems,
and has cried tears upon tears.
Yet you still hold on to that beautiful smile,
spreading positivity all around,
while people wonder,
wonder how you can still smile after everything you've been through,
wonder how you can hold so much happiness within yourself despite the amount of times cruelty has smacked you in the face.
Wonder...
That's all they can do - wonder.
