The heart bleeds,
as the tongue speaks.

The eyes betray,
the words that you say.

Crystals gliding down,
to precious,
to be seen, to be used up.

The innocent angel forced out of your grasp,
the reality and darkness begins to settle in.

A childhood lost, a childhood gone,
a childhood fluttering away.

And you long to just feel,
because all the emotions just don't feel real.

Because all the happiness looks delusional,
and the smile looks so fake.

But the tears are real,
and so is the pain.

But you still plaster that fake smile on your face,
hoping one day,
it could be real.
