"You don't understand. Me gonads, you ovaries," complained George as they all get out of the car. Just an half a hour ago, Izzie entered the bathroom as George was showering, which caused the brunette to panic and awkwardly try to cover himself, though the blonde wasn't probably even looking at him.
"That reminds me. We are out of tampons!" Izzie replied, ignoring the real meaning of George's complaints. He wasn't comfortable with them always walking in panties and entering while he was showering, and well, even though Rikki had nothing against that, she could understand why George could not want them to do so.
"You're parading in the bathroom in your underwear when I'm naked in the shower!" He kept saying, trying everything he could to make the blonde listen to him.
"It's 4:30 am, it's too early to yell like this..." mormoured Rikki as she yawned in her hand, walking next to Meredith and hoping to escape that situation.
"Can you add it to your list, please?" Izzie asked George, referring to the tampons they all three needed. It was like their periods were connected.
"What?"
"Tampons!"
Rikki turned to look at Meredith, hoping she will say something. The blonde shrugged and finally expressed herself. "To the list. It's your turn."
That, if possible, made George get even more mad. "I'm a man! I don't buy girl products! I don't want you walking while I'm in the shower, and I don't want to see you in your underwear!" He kept adding, every word contributing to making an ache span into Rikki's head. And it was just the start of the shift.
"It doesn't bother me, ok?" Izzie replied, tired, passing her coffee to Rikki while she talked to the brunette. The girl silently thanked her with a nod and a little smile and proceeded to take some sips from the drink her friend just gave her. "Look at me in my underwear, George. Take your time. It's no big deal."
Rikki turned to George and finally expressed her opinion about that situation. "If it makes you uncomfortable, I won't do it." However, she didn't give him time to reply because she quickly took Meredith arm in arm and walked away with her.
"Did you see Cristina anywhere here?" She asked, looking around. Meredith shook her head, following her friend towards the hospital's entrance. "Maybe she's not here yet. Or maybe she's already inside. Why?" She asked.
