It was my twenty-eigth birthday and my family was over celebrating with me after a lovely dinner they took me to. I couldn't have asked for better people who took me in. I may not know my biological family but that's fine I have the one thats been with me since I was two years old. My dad sits down next to me and smiles at me lovingly
"I cant believe my girl is twenty eight" Dad said "i remember that very day your mom and i saw you and we just knew"
"You trying to make me cry dad?" I asked
"Barba don't make the girl cry on her birthday" Uncle Fin said
"It's fine uncle Fin" I said with a chuckle
"Oh Rafa's just a little emotional" Mom said carrying in my baby brother Noah "She is after our quick girl who grew up way to quick"
"The same little girl who now works with us and kicks ass as a detective" Aunt Amanda said and I grin
"It's not surprising that she joined us though I mean she was made for this work" Uncle Sonny said
"You guys are gonna make me blush" I said and they laugh. I take Noah from mom and smile at him "Hey buddy we got a big age gap between us but that doesnt mean anything" "I will always have your back little man" All of a sudden theres a knock at the door
"I got it" Uncle Finn said he goes and answers the door "Uh Lise you got some company" I frown and walk to the door and see a young boy and a woman. My eyes widen at the sight of the woman she looked a like me somewhat
"Uh can I help you?" I asked
"Are you Annalise Benson-Barba?" The boy asked
"Yeah thats me" I said "Who are you?"
"My name is Henry I'm your nephew" The boy said "And this is Emma she's you're long lost twin sister and my mom" My eyes go wide as I stare at them
"Im sorry what?" I asked. Mom and Dad walk over and stand behind me.
"What's going on?" Dad asked
"We're sorry to bother you but my son is convinced Annalise and I are sisters" Emma said
"Is there any proof?" Mom asked. Henry grins and takes out an old newspaper and hands it to them. it was an article about the day I was found and there was another baby with me.
"Thats not soild proof" Uncle Fin said "We could do a DNA test"
"That would be best" Aunt Amanda said
"Look I wouldn't be here unless it wasn't important but I need your help" Henry said "Yours and hers"
