Annalise pov

I woke up pretty early this morning i have trouble sleeping in a new place at first so this wasn't surprising. I sat in Granny's diner enjoying a coffee and breakfast. I see a missed call from my mom and as I was about to call her back someone clears their throat. I look up and see Mr Gold.

"Oh hello" I said putting my phone down

"Not interrupting anything am I?" Gold asked

"No nothing urgent" I said

"May I sit?" Gold asked

"Sure" I said and he sits across from me

"If I remember right you are Annalise correct?" Gold asked

"I am" I said "And you are Mr. Gold" He looks at me surprised "Ruby told me who you are"

"Ah" Gold said

"Seems people fear you Mr Gold" I said with a smirk and he chuckles

"Ah well..I'm a hard man to understand" Gold said and I place my hand under my chin

"I like a challenge" I said with a grin and he raises an eyebrow

"You're quite an interesting one Miss Benson-Barba" Gold said

"Please call me Annalise" I said

"Annalise it is" Gold said "How long are you and Miss Swan staying with us?"

"A week" I said

"Well I do hope you enjoy your stay" Gold said "There's nothing like our little town"

"It's cute" I said and he grins

"Well maybe I can show you around sometime?" Gold asked and I raise an eyebrow

"Maybe" I said

"Annalise!" I look up to see Henry with Emma waving me over. "It seems I am being summoned"

"Appears so" Gold said "I hope to see you around Annalise" I grin and nod then make my way over to Henry and Emma "Hey what are we doing"

"Henry would like for us to walk him to school" Emma said

"Oh ok then lets go" I said. We head outside and start walking down the sidewalk

 "So, what's the deal with you and your mom?" Emma asked

"It's not about us, it's about her curse." Henry said "We have to break it." "Luckily, I have a plan." "Step one: identification. I call it, "Operation Cobra".

"Cobra?" I asked "That has nothing to do with fairytales."

"Exactly, it's a codename." Henry said "It'll throw the Queen off the trail."

 "So, everyone here is fairytale character, they just don't know it." Emma said

"That's the curse." Henry said "Time's been frozen.. Until you got here." Emma begins to take a bite of the apple she's carrying "Hey!" "Where'd you get that?"

"Your mom." Emma said

"Don't eat that!" Henry said He takes it from her and throws it

"Okay... Um, uh, alright." Emma said "What about their pasts?"

 "They don't know." Henry said "It's a haze to them." "Ask anyone anything and you'll see."

 "So... for decades, people have been walking around, in a haze, not aging, with screwed up memories, stuck in a cursed town that kept them oblivious." I said

"I knew you guys would get it!" Henry said "That's why we need you, you're the only one who can stop her Curse."

"Because we're the daughters of Snow White and Prince Charming?" Emma asked
