Emma, Henry, and I were at David's welcome back party. They finally let him out of the hospital. I tried to get Mary Margaret to come with us, but she refused and stayed home. I watched David trying to take all of this in and you couldn't help but feel for the guy. This was a lot for him at the moment
"You know why he doesn't remember?" Henry asked "The curse isn't working on him yet."
"Henry, David has amnesia." I said
"Which is preventing the curse from replacing his fairy tale story with fake memories." Henry said
"Right, because everyone here has fake stories that prevent them from remembering who they really are." Emma said
"Right, and now is our chance to help him." Henry said "We just have to get him to remember that he's—"
"He's Prince Charming." I said
"We just have to jog his memory by getting him and Ms. Blanchard together." Henry said
"Didn't we just try that?"" I asked
"And it woke him up." Henry said as David comes over to us"
"Hey." David said "You're the ones who saved me, right?
"Yeah, I guess." Emma said
"And, uh, you're also the only one's I know here." David said
"You can hide with us." I said with a grin
"Fantastic." David said and He accepts some food from a tray, stabbing it with a toothpick and twirling it. Thank you.
"So, you ever use a sword?" Henry asked
"I'm sorry?" David asked with a laugh "Emma?" "Annalise?" "You two live with Mary Margaret, right?" "You know if she's coming tonight?"
"No, she couldn't make it." Emma said
"Oh." David said.
"She had some stuff to do" I said "She said to tell you sorry she couldn't make it" David nods and wanders off. We don't stay for a whole lot longer and drop Henry back off at Regina's. Emma and I head back and see David walking out of the apartment building looking like a kicked puppy. We head inside to see Mary Margaret doing dishes
" You might want to ease up or that Brillo Pad's going to press charges." I said
"The dishes were just piling up." Mary Margaret said
"This have anything to do with David stopping by?" Emma asked "Annalise and I saw him sulking away as we pulled up."
"We just, um, he just..." Mary Margaret said
"Yeah, I know what you both just." Emma said "And you did the right thing."
"He made a pretty compelling case." Mary Margaret said
