After Emma and I left August yesterday we went our separate ways. I needed time by myself..trying to process that the curse might actually be real...I feel like I'm having a mental break down...Maybe I needed to go home...maybe I have been here too long. The worse part id when I got back to the apartment Emma was gone and I had a text saying she had Henry and was leaving...This whole thing has gotten way out of hand. I stood at the school yard with Mary Margaret.. When we see Emma walking towards us
"Oh." Mary Margaret said "Thought you'd left."
"Mary Margaret." Emma said
"But it was hard to tell wasn't it?" I asked looking at Mary Margaret "Because she didn't bother to say goodbye.
"Annalise" Emma said
"You remember when I left?" Mary Margaret asked "When I ran, what you said to me?" "You said, "We have to stick together." "That we're like... family."
"Yeah." Emma said "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left."
"You're right; you shouldn't have." I said "So why, after everything, did you just go?"
"I don't wanna be Sheriff." Emma said "I don't want people relying on me, I don't want this, any of it."
"What about Henry?" Mary Margret asked
"Took him with me." Emma said
"You abducted him." Mary Margaret said
"Maybe." Emma said
"So you don't want people to rely on you, but you took your son." Mary Margaret said "Now that sounds like a stable home for him."
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked
"I want what's best for him." Emma said
"And running is what's best for him?" Mary Margaret asked "Or is that what's best for you?" "You're reverting, Emma." "Into the person you were before you got here and I thought you'd changed."
"You thought wrong." Emma said
"Well, regardless, you have to do what's right for Henry now." I said
"What's that?" Emma asked
"Oh, I don't know." Mary Margaret said "You're his mother." "That's your job." "So you figure it out." She walks to the school and Emma looks at me
"Annalise..." Emma said "You have to help me"
"Why?" I asked crossing my arms "You just left..." "All I got was a text after you left...my long lost sister leaving me without any warning"
"You would have done the same" Emma said
"No you see I wouldn't have" I said "I would've talked to you if I was thinking about leaving" "I would've given you a heads up" "Just so you know I have thought about leaving...." Emma looks at me surprised
