"How is he mother?" Takashi asked his mother as Saika continues to watch over Rock Lee. Takashi then put his gift on Rock Lee's bedside table.
"He will recover! I trust him that much; I've done what I could. . . after he wakes up. . . it will be his battle. But I know he will make it. If his fight with Gaara is any indication, then this kid will go far and beyond." Saika pat unconscious Lee on his head.
"What about Sasuke? Oh, yeah, I also don't have a mentor to help me prepare for finals yet. . ." Takashi realize as Saika wearily sigh.
"Kakashi will be in full responsibility for that boy, and for you, I'll help you prepare, but under one condition. . ." Saika held up one finger.
"What is it?" Takashi turns to his mother.
"You'll help me monitored Rock Lee! In the meantime, however. . . I need to deliver the good news to his friends and mentor; can you watch over Lee for a second?" Saika asked her son.
"Sure!" Takashi nod enthusiastically, sitting patiently besides his friend's bed.
". . .Ta. . .kashi. . .Takashi?" Rock Lee wakes up, much to Takashi's surprise.
"Lee!" Takashi's eyes twinkle. He then noticed Lee's stares on his fractured arm and leg. "My mother operates on you; it was six-hour procedures. . .and it went well." Takashi nodded.
"You mean? I can still be a Shinobi?" Lee smiles was wide.
"It'll take time, buy yes. . . everything is going to be just fine." Takashi assure as Rock Lee cries the same time Might Guy cries can be heard from the hallways. "Here. . . In my travel, I met a lot of pros with their own Taijutsu style, I think. . . this journal will serve you better than it serves me."
"Are. . .are you sure? Can I. . .Really?!" Rock Lee cries even more, making Takashi laugh out loud.
"You inspire me so much Rock Lee, I hope that once you recover, you'll take me to be your student one day." Takashi gave Rock Lee a thumbs up.
"Then, it's a promise!" Lee tried to return the gesture, but Takashi insist that he shouldn't really do anything just yet.
"Rock Lee!" Screamed Might Guy and Tenten.
