"W-Well... considering the scale of his attack, I have no choice but to give him a passing grade."

Kito said somewhat awkwardly, Kito looked over at the destroyed walls where the protective magic formation was formally placed, and his hazel eyes shone with complicated emotions.

The protective formation that was place there was one of the second highest level. Generally, magic can be placed into three different categories. From Standard, advanced to epic.

The scale and power of the magic depends on whichever category it is placed in, and the protective formations carved on the walls were one of the advanced levels. Normally It should be impossible for anyone to destroy a magic formation one level higher than the one the caster used.

Lauren was already aware of this fact but, even though in her heart she knew how amazing and impossible of a feat it was to use a standard attack like 'Thunder spear' to destroy a formation of the 'Advanced' level somehow, she was able to keep her composure unlike Kito who was staring at Kenta with eyes filled with disbelief.

Kenta himself didn't seem to realize how abnormal his attack was to do something like that as he continued to stare at the destroyed doll.

"His attack was definitely impressive."

Hearing the words of Kito Lauren smiled gently before walking over to Kenta who was still standing before the destroyed doll.

The sound of her footsteps instantly caught his attention as he quickly turned and faced her with a complicated light shining in his deep blue pupils.

"Congrats!"

She said cheerfully. Her blue colored eyes were as sweet as honey as she looked at him gently. However, Kenta's brow furrowed into a frown.

He couldn't quite figure out the woman before him at all, was she doing this with ulterior motive? Or was she this nice to everyone? Kenta couldn't bring himself to trust people that easy.

Though Kenta wasn't an intransigent person nor was he pertinacious. He clearly understood that not everyone has the same calculative mindset as the arrogant fellows he had met so far but still... He couldn't easily open his heart to them.

The same people who could easily stab him in the back when it's to their own convenience, remembering the sight of his parent's final moments while everyone else just stand there and watched continued to play inside his head.

His gazed then shifted to the Tony who was still glaring at him as though he wanted to tear him apart.

'As expected, I can't trust anyone! How could I? In the end these people are just selfish people who only cared about their own interest.'

Kenta took small deep breaths as though to calm down his heightened emotions, his hands which were folded tightly into a fist was placed into his pocket as he gazed indifferently towards Lauren who was walking over to him.

"Isn't it great? Now you can get your own identification card! Which means you can easily become a royal knight." Lauren said beaming happily. however, contrary to her happy expression Kenta showed a bitter face before replying coldly.

"... I have no desire nor interest to join those so-called royal knights."

"Eh! Really? Joining the royal knights is an easy way to make money and live a stable life but, you're not interested."

Lauren blinked her eyes repeatedly in a show of great surprise. Originally, she thought he would want to join the royal knight to live a lavish life, she had even secretly plan on making him her own bodyguard but, that doesn't seem to be the case. Not only his expression but his eyes also showed no signs of being interested in such things.
