Back inside the mansion Michael ran towards the staircase connecting to the upper layer of the mansion.

"Guh." He came to an abrupt stop when his shoes stepped into a puddle, he then ran his gazed over the mountain of corpse laying on the ground.

The faces of many innocent children reflected in his eyes, children who had either scared or despairing expression were laying in a puddle of blood.

"How could they do something so terrible?" he quietly muttered to himself. While gazing at the children who despite their bad past all had a bright dream for the future.

He couldn't help but feel intense anger. He silently clenched his fist tightly before walking into a particular room.

It was luxurious room filled with expensive Furnitures and ornaments. The walls had several paintings that would make anyone salute the artist who had painted such portrait.

Michael gazed around the room which despite its glorious looked had many damage and torn curtains inside.

"Sigh… it's not here, so it's as I thought… they stole the lunar stone." Michael muttered while looking at a empty box. The box was scratched and had torn slightly. It showed signs that someone had in fact went inside.

'If the lunar stone was their target. Was it really necessary to kill all those innocent children?' He couldn't help but asks himself, he had anger, sadness and regret.

Those emotions were eating him from the inside. If he never brought them here, would they had survived? Was it his fault? Who knows… He didn't have an answer for that question, maybe he will never find a favorable answer. But…

'This wasn't done by any normal group of people; it was probably done by some organization.' The number of criminal organizations that had taken root inside the Kingdom of Barat wasn't small by any means. There were more than 100, after all the Kingdom of Barat was in fact a large country.

The fact that they tried to steel something from the lord of this land who held strong influence in this nation means they probably don't fear the government.

"Sigh… what a mess." He said before stepping out.

"I can't find the body of Kenta anywhere, does this mean he's still alive? I also don't see the bodies of anymore intruders…. That guy outside can't be the only one." He said while making a pensive expression.

He then stepped inside the office of Suzette, her cold paled body could be seen laying in a pool of blood, there was a large quantity of blood flowing from her abdomen.

He then deduces that she had been stabbed to death, complicated emotions shone in his pupils which were twitching constantly, while becoming moist from tears. After mourning over the death of his older sister he finally left the room.

Meanwhile on a wide road which intersected between the forest, Kenta was running through the road at blinding speed.

For the passerby who we're riding carriages all they saw were a flash when they gazed outside the window. The horses all stopped as a strong gale flew pass them.

After absorbing the strength of five grown adults Kenta whose body was trained for three years, had reach even greater height. His body felt light he wasn't being affected by the wind pressure.

He didn't even feel as though gravity was affecting him, and so he was able to run at speeds that surpassed the normal limitations of his childish body.

'If I could get this strong just by absorbing the power of a human, how much stronger would I get if I absorbed the power of a monster.' He was extremely eager to know, this made him more impatient to finally encounter a beast that could boost him pass the level of a human.

However what Kenta didn't know is that as his strength as slowly growing at an alarming rate, so was his soul.

The more he killed the more his sword absorbed the fragments of his victim's soul, thus adding fragments of their soul to his own to empower him further. So, while his strength no longer had limitations it was the same for his once pure soul which was now five times stronger than it was previously.

Swoosh~

The air rumbled as a flash dashed across the highway attracting the attention of those present.

"Hmm… the air pressure change." A girl who was sitting elegantly inside an extravagant looking carriage said gazing outside the window, her green eyes shone mysteriously as she saw a flash shot passed her.

"Nn, I sensed a strong presence a second ago. But it had disappeared." A woman who had short shoulder length black hair said frowning.

"A powerful presence, you say. Interesting." A young girl who seems to be 15 years old with inhuman beauty said. Her long blonde haired swayed gently by her movement as her green eyes glittered faintly.

"Lady Rose, could you give me a rough estimate, exactly how powerful was that presence?" She asks while cutely tilting her head. The woman called Rose made a pondering gesture.

"I'd say whatever that presence was it's at great class." She said calmly.

"Great class?" The blonde-haired girl widens her eyes faintly by surprise.

"As far as I know there are five classes in this world, the common folks are all normal class while those with power are great class. If that presence was actually at the great class, then we can presume whoever it is must be someone or something with strong magical powers, right?" The blonde-haired girl said, placing her index finger at her pink lips.

The classes each change depending on the person's own power. Normal class is for person's who have no power, while great class is for those who have the potential to use magic power. Ultimate class are for those who had break their own natural limitations and had reach new levels.

Mythical class is a special class that no one in this era had ever reach, in fact it had been centuries since a human had ever reach that scale of power.

The classes weren't absolute, but it was a good way to accurately measure someone's power and potential.

In that past those who were at the mythical class were treated as heroes and great masters. However, throughout the centuries those kinds of gallant beings had greatly declined in numbers.

The people of this era naturally considered that class as impossible and even the king's and emperors deemed it as a waste as no one even believed it was realistically possible to reach the mythical class.

The classes exist in order to separate the chosen ones from the failures as in this world power is everything.

Those without power are naturally looked down upon by the chosen few who could manipulate mana.

Though those who are unable to use magic can manipulate mana through the use of magic sword even the most powerless people can naturally become strong.

Because of their use their extremely rare and not everyone can use them. The magic sword all has a will of their own as they are the ones who choose who is worthy of wielding them.

"Yes, your highness lady Emilia, there are a lot of talented people out there, I'm sure you'll find all kinds of strong people inside this country." Rose said.

"Hm... I hope so, so far there hasn't been anything that really interests me lately. I hope my meeting with the first prince will be interesting." Emilia said as a beautiful smile was bloomed on her face.
