The man wearing a wooded coat continued to look at the context of the book as if to burn every last detail into his mind.
The book was a special book that showed possible futures. Among the futures written down in the book one foretold a terrible future that could ensue in the far distant future.
After reading the content of the book for the fourth time the man sighed.
"Ugh.... Sometimes I loathe the ability to predict the future." The man said, as he closed the book. While having the ability to predict the future might sound advantageous to anyone, to the man this divinity was nothing but a huge burden on the mind.
"Sigh, I thought I have prevented that terrible future when Hendrix died but... who would have thought that man would do something so reckless." He sighed once again.
Removing his hood, the bright green hair of the man was revealed. He had the appearance of someone in his mid-twenties. The god of predictions, Raiden narrowed his bright green eyes as he pondered how to prevent that terrible future from occurring in the future.
When Hendrix had died, the book had stop showing him the future he feared so much so, he had thought everything was finally going to go back on the right track but, a few weeks ago new contents were written within the book of predictions.
When he opened up the book to read what was written inside, he was left baffled and horrified. It was the same terrible future that was there which means Hendrix was probably still alive.
Curious he decided to look further into the future and saw someone unknown but, someone who possesses powers similar to Hendrix. However, such a thing should be impossible! After all, for someone to awaken the divinity of death such a possibility was 1% at most.
The reason for this is that Gods and goddesses must at least have some level of understanding of the concept known as 'Death' So far, the current gods and goddesses aren't close to awakening such a powerful divinity and a universal law no less....
After seeing further into the future, he saw something else he couldn't believe.
"That man did he really saved a piece of his soul? Impossible, even if he had split his soul and left behind a fragment. That fragment should have faded away before it could regenerate back into what it once was... just what the heck did he do?" Raiden wondered aloud.
Hendrix he was always someone very unpredictable, Raiden didn't like him because of that.
Even when he died the man had a smirk on his face as though this was exactly what he wanted or the outcome he was hoping for.
Raiden frowned usually he would never try to change the future once it's been decided, his divinity allow him to predict the outcome of a certain future not change it.
That's the goddess of fates job. But this is the only time where he has no choice but to change the future... he absolutely cannot allow that 'Future' To become reality! After thinking of ways to stop that future he hesitated for a moment before swallowing.
"Lizy, get in here!" He ordered. After a few seconds the space inside the room began to distort fiercely as a portal opened.
Stepping outside of the portal was a beautiful young girl with short pink colored hair rubbing the corners of her eyes.
"Yawn... is there something you need? I was in the middle of sleeping, you know? Make this snappy." The young girl said undauntedly.
Hearing her bold words, the corners of Raiden's mouth twitch slightly.
'Woman! Aren't you the one sleeping for hundreds of years and yet you have the nerve to act sleepy as if you've never slept in your entire life.' He thought.
