Once the man holding the spear notices Kenta was right behind him, he looked at the place where he had stabbed his spear moments ago.

The figure of Kenta could still be seen standing there, before becoming illusory and disappearing one beat later! Kenta had moved so fast that he had created an after image of himself. However, despite his shock the man maneuvered his spear skillfully as he stabbed behind him.

Seeing the tip of the spear being directed towards him, Kenta narrowed his eyes as he created a sword made completely from purple lightning.

'Hm? This boy is able to freely control lightning, and with such mastery. I also didn't hear any incantations. Can he use voiceless magic?' The woman wearing the cloak narrowed her eyes slightly. The more she observed the blonde-haired boy the more curious she became.

In just a split-second Kenta and the spear wielder had exchanged various attacks. During their exchanged of attacks Kenta had the upper hand, as his sword was more flexible and adoptable. Meanwhile, his opponent was a skilled spear user who took advantage of his spears longer reach as he attacked Kenta in his vital parts.

However, Kenta was able to use the speed boosted he had gained from his lightning as he fended off all his attacks with his sword.

BANG!

Once again, their weapons clash fiercely sending both of them stumbling backwards. Cold sweat slid down Kenta's face as he fixes his field of gravity. 'As expected of a guard of a young master, he's strong.' Kenta secretly praise the man before him. His opponent was truly experienced in combat, the only reason Kenta was still standing was because he had the advantage in speed.
Without that advantage Kenta wasn't confident enough to say he could win.

"That boy's swordsmanship is not bad. The way he holds his swords needs some work but, it's obvious he has talent." The blonde-haired man said. The woman wearing a cloak didn't comment on that, she just watches the young boy's back closely as though she didn't want to miss anything.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing? Hurry up and break his legs already!" Tony yelled in frustration. His confident demeanor was nowhere to be seen as he watches the battle taking place before him. Hearing the orders of his master the man holding the spear instantly moved forward once again thrusting his spear!

However, Kenta skillfully parried all his attack with the side of his sword as he waited for an opening! The sound of clashing once again dominated the surroundings as both sword and spear clashed together!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The man holding the spear gave it everything he had but, none of his attack had manage to pierce Kenta's body! All his attacks were successfully guarded against. This fact only made him fumed in anger! He was a spearman who had been training for over thirty years was having trouble against a boy who wasn't even in his twenties.

"Tch, fire ball!" The man holding the spear suddenly held out his hand and chanted, a magic formation soon appeared before his palm as a ball of fire was suddenly released. "Tch." The sudden attack took Kenta by surprise as he was unprepared for the attack. 'Shit!' Kenta did a barrel roll to evade the attack but unfortunately, the flames spread covering the area.

'Hungry!' A childish voice echoed within Kenta's head as a multicolored flame appeared enclosing him inside a barrier. 'Thank you for the meal, master.' The voice said cheerfully. Kenta had a wry smile on his face when he heard that voice. 'Thank you for the help, Agni... I'll definitely repay you someday.' Kenta promises.

However, he got no respond from Agni after that. The man holding the spear held his weapon cautiously as he observed the multicolored flames. 'What kind of magic did he used?' He wondered to himself, that was the same question everyone watching had in their heads, it was only natural they had never heard of a barrier that creates multicolored flames before.
