Swoosh!

The sound of cutting wind resounded clearly amidst the sound of the rustling of the leaves.

ROOOAR!

After letting out a ferocious Roar the creature fell downwards towards the ground with a heavy thud! The shadow of someone could be seen looming over the body of the fallen beast.

Sitting elegantly on a thick tree branch was a young boy with bright golden hair that looked as though it was as bright as sunshine, his deep ocean blue colored eyes stared downwards at the monster he had just slayed, his broad sword clutch tightly in his hands with the blade dripping with fresh blood.

"Sigh, I think that should be enough for now. I have killed all the stronger monsters in this area the weaker ones aren't worth the trouble of hunting." Kenta muttered to himself.

He could feel his soul strengthening from all the monsters he had killed, a strange and peculiar energy was overflowing from within his body, just how much stronger had he gotten he was extremely eager to know.

He then leapt down from the branch he was sitting on and landed on the ground with a thud, a small crater appeared at the point where he fell.

After hunting those monsters for some time now he had completely lost track of time, a clear blue sky stretched above his head with many clouds drifting off into the distance, judging from the sky Kenta could easily tell it was still mid-day.

He then stretched his body and yawned lazily, after fighting nonstop for so long he was feeling quite exhausted.

However, he slapped his cheeks instantly waking up his tired body, before he leaves, he wanted to test his magic some more, now that he was within the forest away from any outsiders it was the perfect time for him to do some training!

Kenta once again leapt off into the air as he moved his body at a tremendous speed searching for the perfect place to train his lightning magic.
....
After searching for approximately 30 minutes he came to a sudden stop on a rocky mountain located further east, from his elevated position he was able to see passed the trees that seemed to goes on forever.

The city was also visible from his current position but, the reason he came here was so he could manipulate the lightning, from his understanding of lightning it allow him to control the weather to a certain extent, being at a height where he could easily see the clear blue skies was definitely an advantage for him right now.

'Now let's see just what this element is really capable of!" Kenta muttered. He then sat down on a rock that was covered with moss, it wasn't comfortable nor was it the ideal seat for him but, it wasn't as if he came here to be comfortable in the first place.

Kenta looked up towards the sky as the tranquil weather filled the surrounding, he then held out his palm as he muttered out loud.

"Thunderclap!" Once those words were uttered the sky that was filled with peacefulness a second ago abruptly changed! Dark and dense clouds suddenly appeared unnaturally, and, in an instant, the clear blue sky was suddenly covered as purple lightning flickered occasionally in the sky.

Seeing the changes happening up closed even Kenta was taken aback by this, he had seen it happened before when he was in the training ground but, back then the sky was already covered before he notices, and inside his dream when the same phenomenon happened again, he was lost in his anger to notice it back then so, this was his first time watching this scene in person.

However, there was something about that purple lightning that had been bothering him since some time ago, for some reason he felt a certain connection with the lightning as though they were always apart of him. No, he felt as if it wasn't his imagination, it was way too apparent after all!

Even the 'Soul eater' Sword seemed really excited of the appearance of the purple lightning that fell down from the sky occasionally, it was as if the sword was happy, it was meeting a old friend again.

The 'Soul eater' Sword glowed subtly Kenta had yet to notice it but as time passed the soul eater sword was getting even stronger!

ROOOAR!

Kenta sat in a meditative position he closed his eyes beneath the turbulent sky as he tried to control the purple lightning flickering in the sky.

It wasn't just the forest that was covered with dark clouds even the entire city was experiencing the same phenomenon! "Again!" A knight who was patrolling the city exclaimed when he looked up at the sky,

"Hey, isn't this the same thing that happened back then? What is going on with the weather?" Another knight said.

The citizens all wore anxious expression as they looked up at the sky that was filled with darkly dense clouds to the point that no sunlight could passed through.

Standing on top of a balcony a young girl with long wavy blue hair could be seen there looking up at the sky.

"Kenta just what is it that you're trying to do?" She wondered; the girl was Lauren the same girl who had exchanged words with Kenta before they parted ways. She was certain that he was the one behind this sudden phenomenon.

"Sigh, well whatever you're doing I hope you don't push yourself too hard." Lauren prayed, her blue eyes narrowed faintly.

The scale of the phenomenon was simply too great even if someone could achieve something like this, she was sure it must take a huge tole on their body.
...
On the main road inside the forest a luxurious carriage could be seen traversing through the hilly terrain.

"Hm, this?" Inside the carriage a woman with purple hair suddenly opens her eyes as she gazed at the sky visible through the window.

"Strange it was sunny just a few minutes ago, isn't this sudden change a bit abnormal?" A man with short black hair asked, as he folded his arm looking out the window.

"Yes, a second ago I felt a strong pressure then suddenly the tranquil sky turned turbulent. I'm certain it was caused by the spell of some unknown mage." The woman, Eleanora said.

"What! Are you sure about that? The scale of this phenomenon is too big to be carried out by a single mage!" The black hair man exclaimed, looking at her dubiously.

However, Eleanora's expression remained unbothered as she looked at the purple lightning falling down from the sky in the distance.

"Then this just means that whoever did it was extremely powerful." She said calmly.

Eleanora had never seen purple lightning before, there were three types of lightning that exists in this world.

The common blue, yellow a color that is said to be rare among the lightning type mages and then black the color that is said to be the strongest type of lightning that only the ones who are at the peak could use.

But even though the purple lightning was unknown to her she could tell it was not any weaker than the two she had seen before.

Honestly, even though she was sure that her thoughts were the truth apart of her really wanted to be wrong, because even if she tried, she was certain that she couldn't do something on a scale as big as this and her rank as a mage was extremely high!
.....
Sitting on top of a mountain with his eyes closed, Kenta was commanding the lightning with his thoughts, it was just as he thought. There was a strange connection between himself and the lightning.

Of course, he had no idea what kind of connection that is but, through thus connection he was able to easily control the lightning bolts that fell from the sky.

From his seated position, lightning crackled around his body in a circle formation as though creating a protective barrier around his body.

The 'Soul eater' Sword hovered in mid-air before him silently. Kenta didn't notice it with his eyes closed but, on his forehead, a strange and unknown pattern had appeared there.
