The goonies is my all-time favourite film, and I will never stop talking about it. It's definitely going to be a running theme through this book. If you don't know what it is, go watch it.

Y/ns pov.

You know what? Being bored has got to be the worst thing known to man. It genuinely makes my head hurt. It doesn't help that my girlfriend Less is boring and watching shitty romance films while I'm stuck here moping around the house. It's not like she's noticed either.

I've tried everything, went to my quiet room where all of my interesting stuff lives, couldn't find owt interesting enough. I went to the kitchen, nothing to eat, and I can't cook for shit. I went to the living room, less being boring.

I'm running out of options here. It's the kind of boredom that makes you physically uncomfortable, you know?

This is starting to irritate me now. How bored can someone actually get? Is it really true that you can die of boredom? AM I DYING OF BOREDOM?

'Lessi quick, I'm dying!' I shout to her from the hallway.

She comes running through, concerned as to what I've done now, I'm not a very safe person. I've broken a few bones in my time.

'Y/n/n, what's wrong? You look fine.' She tells me. That's funny, I've never been fine in my life, there's always sommat wrong with me.

'I'm that bored. I think I'm gonna die.' I reply, She wraps her arms around my waist.

'Love, I don't think you can die from being bored.' She kisses my cheek.

Well, I'm not convinced.

'Well then, why does everyone say they are dying of bordem?' I furrow my eyebrows.

She giggles.

'It's a saying, baby.' That makes me more annoyed.

'Well thats stupid, why the fuck would someone say that?' I ask.

'Hey, watch your language. I don't know why they would say that, but I suppose it is a bit silly. Anyway, you won't be bored anymore because we have team bonding at Beth and Viv's in an hour, so we should probably get changed.' She tells me.

Team bonding is ok. Me, katie, and kyra like to cause a bit of distruption. We are very good at it too. It's just not fun when we get separated, and everyone thinks it's funny to wack the back of my head when I swear. I can't help it, I've been swearing for too many years to stop now. It's a habit.

'Why do we need an hour to get changed?' I whine. 'It takes me seven minutes.' I say proudly.

'Well, it doesn't take me seven minutes, and I need your help picking out an outfit.' She takes my hand, leading me to our shared bedroom.

'Um, how many times. Less you know, I don't have the sort of attention span for that shit.' I tell her.

She sits me down on the bed before going into my wardrobe.

'Why are you in my stuff? I thought we were choosing stuff for you. Oh god, stop stealing my clothes.' I ask.

'Well, I know you can't be bothered to find yourself some clothes, so I'll get you your outfit out for you to get changed into whilst I find something for me to wear.' She replies.

Well, she changed her mind quickly. Saves me a job, I guess.

She hands me some baggy jeans, a plain white t-shirt, a black hoodie, and some chains and rings. Honestly, what would I do without her.

'Thanks, princess, I would be lost without you.' I smile at her.

'You most definitely would, now go get changed.' She ushers me over to the other side of the room to give her space.
