I'm dying of like heat stroke of something, so I'm gonna write this because it seems like a good idea.
If there's any mistakes, which there always is, blame my delusional last braincell or sommat.

Y/n's pov.
'Ollie, you can't ask me about all of my scars. We would be here for days.' I try to explain to my five year old son who is having none of it.
He's recently decided that all of my stories of being a twat are funny and I've now been stuck here telling him about my scars and where I got them from for two hours. We could've watched the goonies in that time.
'Is he still interagating you?' My wife, Leah, smirks, sitting down on the other side of Ollie.
'Mhm.' I joking shake my head at her whith a smile on my face.
I don't mind, really, I think it's awesome that he actually wants to hear about what I got up to before he was born.
That's when I had to get my act together. Not that I'm complaining. It made everyone's life easier. Especially Leah's.
'What's this one?' He asks, pointing to one of the many scars on my knuckles.
I can remember the story behind this one like it was yesterday.
'Well, I got it in a fight.' I tell him, Leah giving me a disapproving look. She doesn't want me to give him any ideas about fighting.
But then she notices exactly which scar her spointing to and starts to blush.
'Cool. Did you win?' He asks.
'Of course I did, kid, I never lose.' I smirk at him as he giggles.
'But, why was you in a fight?' He asks, causing Leah to snort. Not because of the reason but because I would fight anyone about anything if I could.
'Well, I was protecting your mummy.' I tell him.
'Why would you need to protect mummy?' The kid likes his questions, don't he?
I look to Leah to make sure it's okay to tell him, and when she nods in agreement, I start telling the story of that night.
Flashback
'Le, I don't have a good feeling about this man.' I say to my girlfriend of just a few months.
'Come on, love, we can leave early if needs be, but it'll be fun, trust me.' She reassures me, dragging me into the club where the rest of our friends are.
I always hated places like these. They remind me of the past. I have to do this, though, for Leah.
I know it hasn't been long, but I love her, and I want her to know that.
'Didn't think I'd be seen you here Y/n/n.' Katie shouts over the loud shitty music, wrapping and arm around my shoulder.
'Yeah, well, I don't want to be here, I've been forced.' I chuckle, gesturing over to my girlfriend who's been whisked away by Beth.
'You're whipped, my friend.' She smirks.
'Yeah, I'm afraid so. You can't blame me, though. Look at her.' She rolls her eyes at me and goes to find someone else to mess with.
Well, now I'm on my own, I'm feeling kind of uncomfortable. As I said, I don't really like the environment I'm in, and none of it is for me.
God, the things I do for that woman.
I decide to grab myself a diet coke, not wanting to drink tonight. I don't drink a lot, and when I do, it'll only be one or two.
I look over to Leah and are sure she's got a drink before ordering and going to sit back down.
'Alright, Less?' I ask Alessia who's sat down next to me.
'Yeah, I'm good, you?' She replies.
'Well, I would be if I wasn't here, but I'm doing it for Le.' I playfully roll my eyes.
'Of course you are.' She smirks, nudging my shoulder lightly.
'Have you ever tried saying no to her? It's scary, man.' I shudder. 'Plus, she said we can leave early if it gets too much, so I should be fine for at least another ten minutes.' I joke.
Less starts to say something, but I get distracted by some ugly guy trying to chat up, Leah. My Leah. And she's looking extremely uncomfortable.
'Yeah, hold onto that thought. Less, I'll be back in a second.' I say, getting up from my seat and walking towards the dance floor.
'Oi.' I should over the deafening music, gaining the attention of the wet wipe who's got his hands on my girlfriend. 'Get the fuck off her, prick.' I shudder at him, shoving him off of Leah.
'Woah, calm down, mate. I'm not doing owt wrong.' He slurs, stumbling around in a drunken state.
'Well yes you fucking are, making my girlfriend uncomfortable.' I try to remain calm.
Katie stands next to me, just ad ready to fight as I am, and Beth and Steph are consoling Leah who has a smirk on her face? Why's she smiling?
'Well, it seemed like she wanted it.' He chuckles.
That's fucking it.
I grab him by the shirt and slam him into the wall behind him.
'You fucking go near her again.' I shout in his face, getting a few hits in and breaking the skin of my knuckles.
He starts to fight back, and I take a blow to the ribs, making me stumble slightly before hitting him perfectly on the nose. The sounds of bones cracking echo through the room, both my knuckles and his nose being the cause of said noise.
'Is that all you got, hey?' He chuckles again. 'Winner gets the girl.' He smirks.
This knocks me off guard, allowing him to give me a bruised eye, but I quickly fight back, pushing him to the floor and punching him in the face over and over until his body goes limp.
This is when Katie decides to pull me away, making sure I don't kill him.
I don't say a word from the moment we leave the club to the moment my head hits the pillow, and I fall asleep.
I should probably regret my actions. But I don't. I was protecting Leah, and I will always protect Leah.
My knuckles fucking kill though.
Present time.
I tell the story to our son, exaggerating some parts, and getting scolded by Leah for leaving in the most violent parts, but you know, I have to tell him these things. He'll only learn them later on in life.
May as well get the conversation over and done with.
'You did that all for mummy?' He asks, shocked.
'Of course I did, buddy. I love her very much, more than I ever knew back then.' I tell him kissing Leah on the cheek.
'Ewww.' I scrunched his nose up, trying to wriggle away from us.
It doesn't work, though, as we strengthen our grip on Ollie and tickle him, making him giggle like mad.
Eventually, we stop and end up all three of us sprawled out on the sofa, exhausted.
Not long after, Ollie falls asleep on my chest, and Leah begins to talk.
'I still can't believe you did that for me.' She blushes.
'I'd do anything for you, darling, you know this.' I tell her, kissing the side of her head. 'Plus, you loved it. Once we got home, you couldn't keep your hands off of me.' I smirk.
'Oh please, like you didn't enjoy it. Anyway, I was only nursing your wounds.' She says.
'So that's what they call it these days.' I wink, earning a pillow to the face.
Oh well, I'm not wrong.
