Just wanted to say I don't know how I got 10k reads, but thank you for actually reading this shit even if most of it doesn't make sense.

-------

Y/ns pov.

I and fucking exhausted. I haven't slept in days, and it's affecting my mood massively. What doesn't help is the fact that we are on international duty, which means I can't escape the girls, especially my girlfriend Georgia.

I don't know what it is, but my brain won't shit off. Normally, it isn't this bad, and I can still sleep, but no. It's constantly going 3 million miles an hour.

I think most of the team have caught onto the fact that I'm not my usual self, but no one's said anything yet. Not even Georgia, who literally shares a room with me. Probably cause I'm in a shitty mood, I can be a right twat when I'm like this.

We are in the canteen for lunch, and I sit at a table on my own with my hood up, head down, and headphones blasting music down my ears. I hope my brain turns off soon, I just want to sleep.

I feel a tap on my shoulder, so I take off my headphones, head still on the table.

The person sits next to me and starts talking.

'Are you ok?' I can tell by the voice that it's Millie. Me and her have a special kind of bond. She has a slight understanding of how my brain works and helps me through things because I don't have a clue.

'Yeah, I'm fine.' I tell her as I just want to be left alone.

'No, you're not. What's up?' She asks.

'Mate, just piss off in not in the mood.' After that, she walks away, and I put my headphones back on. Like I said, I can be a twat.

The headache is back now. it's been on and off since yesterday morning. Probably lack of sleep, but I can't help that really.

Georgia's pov.

'Sorry, g, she doesn't want to speak to me.' Millie tells me, walking back from where my girlfriend is sat.

'I don't know what's going on with her. She's been in a mood for days.' I say to everyone on my table.

'Have you tried speaking to her?' Kiera asks.

'Ofcourse I've tried fucking speaking to her kei. She just acts like I'm not there.' I sigh and rest my head in my hands.

'She isn't usually like this back at Arsenal, even when she's missing you. Something must be really wrong.' Leah tells me.

'Has she been sleeping?' Lucy asks.

'Huh?' I make sure I head her correctly.

'Has she been sleeping properly, I mean, come on, have you not seen the bags under her eyes. For god's sake, you sleep in the same bed. Surely you know if she's sleeping.' I widen my eyes.

How fucking stupid could I be. Normally, she's first asleep and last awake. The girl loves her sleep. But in these past few days, every time I've gone to sleep or woken up, she's been awake.

I stand up and immediately make my way over to y/n, flashing a thankful look to Lucy.

Itap her on the shoulder, but she shrugs me off.

'Millie, I told you i don't want to talk.' She mumbles.

I gently take her headphones off, and she looks up to try and take them back. She stops herself and shuts her eyes wincing.

'It's me love, I'm so sorry I didn't notice you were struggling so much.' I bring her head into my chest and stroke her hair.

She winces again.

'What's wrong?' I ask.

'Head.' She mumbles.

'Right, I'm taking you to bed. You can't do the rest of the day like this. I'll get one of the girls to tell Serina that we're taking the rest of the day off.' I tell her.

She doesn't even try to protest. That's when I know it's bad.

I pick her up and grab her headphones, hanging them around her neck.

I explain the situation to the girls, and they agree to tell Serina.

I take y/n up to our room and place her onto our bed. I turn off the lights and close the blinds so she can open her eyes without hurting her head.

'What's going on in that head, baby?' I ask, laying down next to her.

'It won't sodding shut up for one second man.' She let's out an annoyed sigh.

There is a knock on the door.

'One second love.' I whisper to her.

I open the door, and it's Millie.

'I brought some painkillers for the head, and once she's feeling better, I've got her a present, so come down to the chill room in a bit.' She hands me the painkillers, and I thank her, telling her we might be down later, depending on if I can get y/n to sleep or not.

Millie leaves, and I go back to y/n.

She takes the painkillers and seems to be more comfortable.

'Right you, how are we going to get your head to be quiet?' I ask her

'I've been asking myself that question for the past three days darling, it's impossible.' She tells me.

'Even if I do this?' I pull her head onto my chest and start stroking her hair as I know it helps. Surprisingly, her eyes nearly immediately start closing. I must be magic or something.

Her breathing starts to even out, and after only five minutes, she's flat out asleep.

I quickly take a picture and send it to the group chat so that everyone knows she's okay and then nothing after my I start to feel myself lull off to sleep.

That was a short one, I'm tired but can't sleep so I got this idea, might write a part 2, not sure yet.
