"HEY, LOOK!" AANG CRIES OUT EXCITEDLY, sprinting across the sand. The morning sun lit up the beach and it was unlike anything the Southerners had ever experienced. Katara and Sokka had never left home before all of this ━━━━━━ and yet here they were, on an adventure of a lifetime. Jing-hai had grown well-accustomed to travel since the night she left her tribe. But even before that, she had seen the world. Whether that be to form alliances from across the Nations or being paraded around as representative for her tribe. Though standing on that beach that day was like seeing the world through new eyes. Being with her friends made everything an adventure, putting a spring in every step. Even if her chest felt particularly heavy that morning.
Aang points to something in the sand. "A sword made out of a whale's tooth!"
Sokka straightens at this.
"Let me see that," he demands.
Crouching down, the boy retrieves a scimitar from the sand. He offers a pensive frown to the curved whale tooth and the girls know exactly why. "This is a Water Tribe weapon! Quick, see if you can find anything else."
