EVERYBODY KNOWS THE TALE OF YIN AND YANG. Black and white. Dark and light. Good and evil. Or in this case: ocean and moon, Tui and La...Yue and Jing-hai. Two polar opposites of cosmic duality. A concept that ━━━━━━ if imbalanced, has Earth-shattering consequences.
The Northern Water Tribe found this out the hard way.
Because when Chief Arnook and his wife bore the next heirs to his reign, the complications that fell upon them were far too dangerous for the mortal world to handle. Having been birthed as still-borns, babies Yue and Jing-hai experienced a miracle. After the tribe healers were unable to cure them from their illness, a distraught Arnook took to praying to the spirits instead. Desperate for an answer, they were bathed within the waters of the Spirit Oasis. And answer they did. Moon and Ocean spirits, Tui and La, saved their lives that night ━━━━━━━ along with the rest of the world (but that was for another time). So, with spirits in their life forces and moon dust in their hair, the children were bound for greatness.
