Chapter 52: Till Death Do Us Part

Adrenaline raced through every vein in your body as you pierced your sickle deep into their grey flesh. The savage, endless beasts kept breaking through the castle's defenses, destroying everything they saw. Without hesitation, you charged with your sickle, as did your sisters. Slicing the lycan's heads off its body in a single swing. It was a bloody battle between you and the approaching creatures that coursed through the walls, with the same desire in your mind, "Protect the castle." Those were the last words you heard your mother utter before she left to look into the maliciously, violent attack on the village and the castle.

With her words echoing in your memory, you used all of your strength to slaughter any lycan who dared to enter your home. "ON YOUR RIGHT!" Cassandra shrieked at you as she slashed varcolac's throat open that faught with her.

"GSSRRRAA!" You darted your sight to the right and with one harsh swing, you severed the entire wing of the aggressive samca that charged directly up at you. "Goddammit!" you yelled, panting as you watched the bleeding monsters fall to the ground, total chaos surrounding you.

"GRRSS!- GRAAA!" You gazed your eyes as the loud, piercing growl grew louder. You watched with wide eyes as Daniela morphed herself into her swarm of flies within seconds and slashed the terrorizing uria's left arm while it swinged its big, spiky hammer at you.

You lost your balance and fell to your side as the beast struck its metal hammer vigorously into the wooden floor, only inches from your fallen body, causing the entire room to tremble violently. Cassandra instantly turned herself into a swarm as she observed the massive beast attacking you, assisting her sister in protecting you. "HOW FUCKING MANY OF THEM ARE THERE!?" Cassandra yelled in frustration as she ripped the beast's heart out with her hand.

Daniela buried her teeth in the lycan's neck, ripping its throat out. "I'LL KILL AND EAT EACH OF THESE FUCKING INVADING ASSHOLES!" She shrieked, steaming with rage, as she spit out the lycan's flesh. Her wild eyes swept around her, searching for an undefeated monster to slay with her pounding adreline.

The vanquished monsters slowly turned to white ashes, causing the dense murderous air to flake around with dust as you struck your sickle fiercely as they continued to force themselves ferociously into the castle doors without an end. Your arms burned with severe discomfort and your yellow eyes flickered with utter wrath as you glimpsed at them. "THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM!" you yelled as you violently twisted the samca head off with your hands.

Cassandra let out a horrifying gasp as she narrowed her dazed eyes to the door, massive monster attempting to enter the castle. She struck the lycan with her blade and drew closer to the massive double door, pushing with all her might as the creatures forced their way in. "WE NEED TO SHUT THE DOOR!" She shouted, striving your attention. Without hesitation, you morphed into your swarm and turned back, pushing along with Cassandra as hard as you could, feeling the sharp breeze brush against your skin as you became more exposed to the air. "Come on, come on!" you exclaimed, squeezing the panicked air out of your lungs.

Daniela groaned furiously, baring her teeth as she murdered the invading monsters who were forcing their way in. "SICK ANIMALS, DIE!" she screamed with rage, pulling the samca's upper body from its stale bones with ease.

You grumbled exhaustedly, placing both of your hands on the massive wooden door and pushing it with all your might as frigid air caressed across your blonde hair, the ends of which gradually crystallized. "WERE ALMOST THERE, PUSH HARDER!" You shouted, watching the door move back.
