Author's Note:
As you might have noticed, I did post two chapters after another. Before we put this long novel to a final, I wanted to treat everyone with an amazing gift from my side for everyone who read this fanfiction. So if you see this, you're getting a big smooch from me.
Since everyone has been starved and neglected over the last ten chapters, my pookies deserved a treat, but first cry and read this chapter before something other than your eyes will cry, if you know what I mean.

─────Six Months Later─────
A lot has changed since that haunting day six months ago. Since then, you have found yourself as alone as you ever felt in your entire life. The castle fell utterly silent, with only a cold breeze brushing past the castle's windows each night. It wasn't just quiet, it also felt empty, with the missing people who served and lived within the castle walls.
The longer the quiet days lasted, the more devasting foundings you discovered around the demolished castle. You subsequently found the bruised bodies of your fellow maids and friends lay coldly in the cellars, along with their precious only belongings. You burned Catalin and Loana's bodies in the large furnace among the other maids before burying their ashes in the ground in front of the castle's main entrance, setting their souls to rest. You thoroughly cleaned each of their personal chambers and placed their gold brooch with their engraved name atop their neatly made bed, and then locked each door with the key you later placed beside their thombstones.
Although burying the bodies of your friends never beat the grief and tears you wept on that snowy day, when you set the three elegant thombstone graves above the resting crystals of Bela, Daniela, and Alcina. With their enchanting names carved in cursive golden lettering on their glowing stones, sitting on the castle's courtyard ground, where they were surrounded by colorful flowers hugged by fresh silky snow that fell from the gray sky above them. Not a single day had passed where you didn't cry yourself to sleep, curled up close into Alcina's golden sheets. Finding yourself buried in her soft pillow for hours, days, or even weeks, which still to this day lingered with her gentle sweet scent.
It took several months to rebuild the damaged castle and the portraits that had fallen from its glorious walls. You recall gathering all of the shattered glass pieces from Alcina's chamber before attempting to glue them back into their rightful position, hoping to recreate her gorgeous golden vanity with the parts that were left scattered across the floor. After that, the only time you got a glimpse at yourself was when you looked over the uneven reflection in that mirror. Nothing could bring you back to your former self as you went through the abandoned castle, the only sound in your ears being your own slow heartbeat along with the heels that ticked with each step you made across the long red carpet.
The ends of your lips couldn't help but smile lightly through your welled eyes as you sat on the edge of Bela's messy four post wooden bed, caressing the soft fabric along your palm as you glanced over her chamber, realizing nothing of her belongings had changed or moved in her room since her passing. Which wasn't surprising given she wouldn't be visiting her room again, but in your head, you still envisioned them giggling together, rushing excitedly downstairs as you called them for dinner every day. You narrowed your gaze back to your lap as you recalled the memories of them that still wandered each day in your mind as the days passed by, but now that you thought about it, you didn't even realise how many days or even months had passed already.
