SYNOPSIS.
REMMI TYLER WAS one of a kind. She was in her fifth year of residency at Grady Memorial Hospital, she had the perfect boyfriend, not to mention she was in the running for Chief Resident. A promotion she had only dreamt about. Her life seemed perfect to anyone who watched from the outside. But on the inside, Remmi's life was far from a dream come true. Some would call it a living nightmare.
Escaping from her life in Atlanta, Remmi finds solace in King's County with her family, swearing herself to a quiet life of no pain or suffering and the love that goes along with it. That was until the war she battled inside her mind, wasn't the only one she had to combat.
When illness turns deadly, the world as she knows it, is gone. The dead begin to rise and now, there are new battles to face every day. She finds herself amongst a few of the living that are just surviving somehow. With love being the last thing on her mind, she finds herself finding a friendship with the quiet hunter.
She finds peace in his presence.
A peace that she never thought she would get again.
