Ahn Sooyun was a outgoing, cheerful teenager. Whereas Niki was a quiet, reserved transfer student from Japan. Sooyun immediately takes an interest in him, and makes it her goal to help him open up.

"Today is the 10th annual school fun day!" Mr. Lee said through the intercom. Sooyun fiddled with her camera and Danielle jumped up and down excitedly.
"I'm so excited for the dance competition! I hope I win gold." Danielle said. "I'm sure you will, you're such a great dancer. Idol material." Sooyun said. "Don't butter me up." Danielle said. "I'm serious." Sooyun assured.
"Hey Sooyun! Have you seen Niki?" Jungwon asked. "I thought he was with you guys." Sooyun said, finally fixing her camera. "We thought he was with you." Sunoo said, adjusting his baseball cap.
"Sorry I'm late." Niki said, running to catch up. Sooyun stared at him in admiration. The way his brown hair perfectly fell into his face, the way his soft gaze met with hers. "Sooyun, Hi." Niki said. Sooyun smiled widely and waved.
"What activities did you choose?" Sunoo asked. "It's a secret." Niki replied. Jungwon smacked his teeth, "you're so secretive." Niki just nodded. "You can tell me!" Sooyun said. Niki looked at her for a few seconds before shaking his head. Sooyun pouted.
"Niki, you should take a selfie with us!" Sunoo said. "Yeah man!" Jungwon agreed. "Self..ie?" Niki repeated. Before he could answer, Jungwon and Sunoo squeezed him. "Smile!" Sunoo said. Niki put on a small smile and looked at the camera.

"What's your Kakao? I'll send it to you." Jungwon said. "I'll just put it in your phone." Sunoo said, taking Niki's phone. Niki nodded and fiddled with his hands. "Let me take a picture of you, Kiki." Sooyun said. "Not yet." Niki said.
Sooyun pouted and nodded. "Those who are participating in the basketball game please head towards the court!" Mr. Lee yelled through the intercom. Niki grabbed his things and headed to the court. "Basketball, figured." Sooyun said.
"Well well, if it isn't freshman boy." Kai said. Niki ignored him and grabbed a water bottle. "You're ignorant." Taehyun said, "I like you for that." Niki just nodded. Kai wrapped his arm around Niki, "You don't talk much. Why?" Niki shrugged. Kai ruffled his hair and walked away with Taehyun.
"Are they picking on you?" Jungwon asked. Niki shook his head, "No." "You sure? I'll beat them up." Sunoo said, swinging his arms around. Jungwon laughed and Niki smiled a bit.
Niki looked over and saw Sooyun standing in the crowd with her camera, talking to Danielle. Niki smiled a bit and grabbed the basketball. He turned back around to see she had left.

"Why won't you just talk to him yourself?" Sooyun asked. Danielle sighed, "He's too perfect." Sooyun chuckled, "It's not like you're asking him out. You can just say hi." "Look at Choi Youngjae then at me." Danielle said, standing up and twirling around. (Youngjae from TWS:)
