Danielle stared at the menu and looked at Jungwon. "Order." Jungwon whispered. Danielle looked at the waiter and cleared her throat, "I want whatever he gets." She said, pointing to Jungwon. Jungwon mentally face palmed.

The waiter nodded and walked away. "You can't order for yourself?" He asked. "I got nervous." Danielle scoffed, folding her arms and sitting up. "I could've ordered for you." Sunghoon said, looking at her from across the table. "Too late now." Danielle said. Jungwon glared at Sunghoon as he talked with Danielle.

"What class are you in?" Sunghoon asked. "Grade 9, class 2." Danielle replied. "I'm in Grade 10, class 3. I'm one hall away from you. Maybe I'll walk with you to lunch." Sunghoon said. Danielle nodded. "Do you skip?" Sunghoon mouthed. Danielle nodded.

"I told her not to." Jungwon mumbled. Danielle looked at him. "I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be back." Jungwon said. Danielle nodded, "don't be gone too long." Jungwon nodded and looked at Sunghoon before leaving.

"I told him not to drink so much soda." Sunghoon chuckled. Danielle chuckled as well. "I've never seen Sunghoon so interested in a girl." Mrs. Yang whispered. "I have. He's leading her on. But I don't have the heart to tell her." Jungwons sister thought.

"What's your number?" Sunghoon asked. "I'll put it on your phone." Danielle said. Sunghoon nodded and handed her his phone. Danielle put her number in and smiled. Jungwon came back just as the food arrived. "Took you long enough." Danielle said.

"I don't like cilantro." Danielle pouted, as she stared at her noodles. Jungwon took the cilantro out of her bowl, "luckily for you I do." Danielle smiled, "you're the best." Jungwon smiled a bit.

October 3rd

Niki waited outside for Sooyun patiently. "Hey Kiki- why are your eyes red?" She asked, handing him his homework. "Allergies." Niki replied, looking at his score. "An 80%?" He asked, looking at Sooyun. "You're improving a lot." Sooyun smiled.

Niki just stared at the paper, "can I get bonus points?" "I gave you 5 already. Kiki, an 80% is a B. Why are you still trying to round it up?" Sooyun asked. "My mom only likes A's" Niki replied. "She's being way you hard on you. And you're being hard on yourself. Kiki, no one's perfect. Not even you." Sooyun said softly. Niki stared at her.

"Your mom seems like she wants you to be something she wasn't. I know you feel pressured to be perfect, but it's your freshman year. You're thinking about more than school and she needs to see that." Sooyun said. Niki's gaze softened and he nodded.

"Okay see you at lunch!" Sooyun smiled, going back to her happy self. Niki nodded again. "Smile." Sooyun said. Niki smiled and so did Sooyun. "Now I have my energy up for class!" She said. Niki chuckled, "See you, Sooyun."

Danielle ran under the bleachers with Sunghoon and tried to contain her laughter. "How'd you even find out you could go under the bleachers?" She asked. "I don't remember actually." Sunghoon replied. "Do you just sit here and eat snacks. No one checks?" Danielle asked. "Never." Sunghoon assured.

Danielle nodded and opened a bag of chips. "Help your self to as much as you want." Sunghoon said, wrapping his arm around her. Danielle smiled and nodded. She took a lollipop out of he bag. "That's my favorite flavor too. Are there anymore?" Sunghoon asked. Danielle shook her head.
