Sooyun sighed as she tapped her pencil on her desk. The boredom was killing her. Suddenly, she heard a familiar soft voice. She looked up and saw Niki handing the teacher a folder. "Thank you, Niki. Do you need a pass back to class?" Mr. Lee asked. Niki scratched the back of his neck shyly. Everyone was staring at him.

He caught a glimpse of Sooyun and she smiled at him. Niki smiled a bit as well before clearing his throat. "Yes sir." He replied. Mr. Lee nodded, "let me write you one." Mr. Lee went to his desk and began writing a pass for Niki.

Niki looked at Sooyun and waved quickly. Sooyun waved back and smiled, immediately falling in love all over again. "Alright Niki, here's your pass." Mr. Lee said, handing it to Niki. Niki bowed a bit, "Thank you sir." He shot one last glance at Sooyun before leaving.

"Girl he's totally into you." One of her classmates said. "I would hope so, he's my boyfriend." Sooyun chuckled. "Really? You're so lucky." Her classmate awed, "I knew you two were close but I didn't know you guys were together." "Your boyfriend is attractive." Said another. Sooyun let out a fake chuckle at the remark.

"Alright everyone pay attention." Mr. Lee said, before going back over the lesson. Sooyun felt someone staring at her and she looked to the side, only to see Ahyeon staring dead at her. She tilted her head a bit before looking back at the board.

"Kiki!" Sooyun said excitedly, running up to him. Niki smiled widely and opened his arms, immediately being embraced in a warm hug. "Today is so boring. I wish you were in my class." Sooyun whined. "I wish I was in your class too." Niki said.

"Did you bring your own lunch today?" Sooyun asked. Niki nodded. "Did you cook it yourself?" Sooyun asked. Niki scratched the back of his ear, "No." "Are you lying?" Sooyun asked, smiling a bit and raising a brow. Niki shook his head and looked away.

"Why won't you just admit that you enjoy cooking?" Sooyun asked. "It's embarrassing." Niki whispered. "No it's not. I still remember the muffins you made for me in year 9. Why did you stop baking them so often?" Sooyun asked. "My mom took all of my baking stuff." Niki replied.

"I never liked your mom." Sooyun said. Niki chuckled, "I know." "Hey Niki!" Ahyeon said, running up to him. Sooyun furrowed her eyebrows and took a step back. "Hey?" Niki asked, taking a step back as well and standing next to Sooyun.

"I heard you're good at math." Ahyeon said, twirling her hair. Niki nodded slowly. "Could you possibly tutor me?" Ahyeon asked. "Uhm..." Niki looked at Sooyun. "I don't see why not." Sooyun shrugged. "Why does he need your approval?" Ahyeon asked. "He doesn't, he just has the manners to ask first." Sooyun said. Ahyeon looked her up and down before going back to making heart eyes at Niki.

Sooyun didn't know how to feel. She felt like being jealous would seem insecure. But she also felt like if she didn't say anything, Niki would think she didn't care. She just stood there silently, looking at Niki.

"I'll help tutor you I guess." Niki said softly. "Thank you so much!" Ahyeon said, leading towards a hug. Niki backed up a bit and chuckled, "I don't... I'm not a fan of hugs." He said. "Oh sorry." Ahyeon chuckled. Niki nodded as she walked away. "I don't have to tutor her if you don't want me too." Niki said immediately. "Riki, I don't mind." Sooyun assured. Niki nodded, "Alright."
