1 hour later, after Nine made some modifications on his ship, the group went to the Boscage Maze by opening a portal. But before that, Nine and Tails created new regulators for Sonic on New Yoke City as a precaution, with the same attuned power to all of the Shatterspaces, but without the Prism Energy that binded him to the Paradox Prism, the time period of the usage of that power was shortened and even more if Sonic waste too much stamina. Both Spectrum's and Sonic's regulators on the gloves and shoes have the same style (but with different powers)!
And after they landed on the Boscage Maze on a clearing of the open sky, the Scavangers and Thorn Rose and Birdie saw and heard of the "intruder's arrival" and they had their suspicious. Especially Thorn Rose and Birdie, since they were on their duty of protecting the jungle as "monsters" began to resurface again!
Thorn: You're right, Birdie! If it's not Sonic, then we must destroy that intruder. - said the angry Thorn, after Birdie gave a loud chirping that is similar to a predator hunting for it's prey. Moments later they saw Sonic aongside with Tails, Spectrum and Nine.
Thorn: YOU?!? YOU'RE THE CRAZY FOX WHO TRIED TO DESTROY EVERYTHING!!! - Thorn glared at Nine, mad enough to pulverize him with her heavy stone and wood hammer.
Nine: Listen, I can explain everything! Besides I have no resentment towards anyone. We only want... - but Nine couldn't even got a chance to say anything more than what he said.
Thorn: I DON'T TRUST YOU! SO LEAVE THE JUNGLE, WITH THE OTHER STRANGERS... NNOOOOWWWW!!!
Tails: And I thought Amy was the one with the anger issues. - Tails said, a little worried so suddenly.
Sonic: Oh, you have NO IDEA! - said Sonic, while he facepalmed.
Spectrum: Uh... She's also the protective type, however for some reason she can't protect... herself! Like me. - said a sad Spectrum, while he saw something about Thorn's nature and personality about himself or... someone else that was important to him.
Sonic: Tails and Spectrum, meet Thorn Rose. She's another version...
Tails: Yeah yeah, we know it! Another version of Amy. What do you expect? - Tails was not about that surprised to know, since they were not in Green Hill.
Thorn was tired of all that peptalk and she tried to finish Nine for good, however Nine managed to use his mechanical tails in time to defend himself against Thorn's Hammer Slam attack.
Nine: I just want to be your friend, but I couldn't said that before in the Grim after everything was fixed! I was afraid that all of you didn't believe that I changed for the best. - said Nine, frozen with fear by Thorn's suspicious glare.
Thorn: Sorry, Nine. But foxes like you... CAN'T BE TRUSTED! GGRRRAAAAHH!!! - she really decided to pummel Nine with killing intent, after all the actions that Nine commited in the Grim, by creating his Grimions in order to get Sonic's Prism Energy while his friends were irrelevant to Nine.
Tails: Thorn, don't... GUUUAAAHHH!!! - Tails tried to stop Thorn's wrath, but he was hit very bad on his head in hope to protect Nine and allowed to be spared, at the price to put himself unconcious.
Sonic: TAILS! - after he yelled, Sonic is both sad and angry at Thorn.
Spectrum is starting to realise how much frustration and powerlessness that Sonic felt in the past to not being able to protect everyone in time... the very same thing keeps happening! Spectrum and Sonic's regulators were glowing rapidly.
Spectrum: SONIC... JUMP NOW AND CLAW OUT, QUICKLY! - Spectrum ordered.
Sonic: Fine!
Spectrum: KNOCK IT OFF!
